They should still be able to sign a contract though.

I would think you would have to choose the archetype first. What if you signed the contract and then didn't or forgot to choose an archetype, then one would be randomly assigned. It seems more like a fail safe for good reasons.

Possibly, that's why I have to wait and see what Bort says. I think it's a bug but I'm not positive.

Good point, but if this is what was intended then I would have to take serious issue with it. To me, for a young player, it makes a LOT more sense to choose a team first, and then select an archetype that best compliments that team.

Had a +3%BB/+5%FF piece. Was told that a high % piece would be eligible for a swap to an SA piece. I thought "Great!"

Then was told that the %/% pieces would be swappable for a +att/+SA. EVEN MORE GREAT! I was all excited about turning this piece in.

So today I fired up exchange.

Gave me the option to pick a +att. I thought "Cool, now it will take me to the SA part"

Nope.

I now have a +2 Str/+7% FF chance piece.

Someone explain why the +5(7)% FF wasn't eligible to be exchanged, or at the very least why I couldn't choose which half was dumped?

Made a decent piece become p much worthless.

Would definitely like some answers here, since I wouldn't have bothered "exchanging" it if I knew I was going to be stuck with the least useful half of the piece.

You cost 1 or 2 of my players 1 mil extra I have to spend to change my equipment.

Needs to be stated that there's a max of 50 shopping tokens to be turned in. I had players with up to 6 pieces of un upgraded % AE's all saying they were worth 25 shopping tokens. Well little did I know after I sold 2 of them I wasn't able to get my 100% refund of cash from the other pieces.

Your welcome for finding this out at the expense of my own players.
