Before making these two stats more important in the sim just limit roster sizes to 45.

Simply limit roster size to a smaller number say 45 as the first step with roster sizes of 45 the affects of morale and stamina loss would be magnified. Then add the tweaks only not so magnified.

Other benefits of a 45 man roster.

1. At the upper levels, AA+ the smaller the roster the less the difference between teams would be. It's a math thing. If the roster size is 55 world league would need the top 1750 players at 45 only 1440.

2. Players get to play more the game is too expensive already. Everyone wants more plays per dot except SSB's and they are tools.

3. Decisions like do I carry STers or Mentors become difficult.

4. Roster composition in general becomes important.

48 Players already. If you have STOP, back ups, players being developed (possible with the new XP, you can easily put a player on the roster, let him accumulate a few plays to get XP, and then when he's ready, promote him into the rotation)

45 is extremely low, and 55 seems to be good enough to allow for some depth, and some "special teams" guys.
