So, does this apply to everyone? Even level 1s will only need 10-15 plays per game? If so, this change is really great. That has always been the problem with lower levels imo. You have the team with a 55 man roster (getting 60-70% XP) destroying everyone, then you have the team with 24 human players (getting max XP) getting their asses kicked. 5 seasons later, the players with the lol gold trophies regret ever signing with a winning team.

Could I please get clarification though? How many plays will level 1s need for max XP?

That is what it looks like, he did not say there were exceptions

I thought it was just that ya only needed half the amount of plays to get max XP as you did in the past.

Yea, it says half, so is half 24 plays?

It depends. Whatever a player currently gets 50% XP at is what they will now get max XP at. So for example, if a level 29 player gets 50% XP currently after 16 plays, he would get max XP after 16 plays in the new system.

It should be less than that...because XP at low levels diminishes as you get more plays. You hit 50% XP very quick ~10 plays even at early levels.

# of Plays ~% of Max XP
4 29
9-10 50
16 76
25 89
28-30 93
36-38 97
45+ 100

To make your players most happy, I would say try to get everyone at least 25 plays per game. Early levels used to need 50-55 plays per game to get MaxXP, as it stands now they need to get 1/2 that number to get max.

So ensuring everyone gets at least 25 plays should be obtainable even with a 55 man roster.

This also has the benefit of ensuring your stamina/in game energy levels are about equal for all your players meaning your team performs at its maximum efficiency through the whole game AND its just the 'cool' thing to do for your players.

As an owner the most important thing you need to remember is that the guys who sign, who are boosting, are paying to be a part of your team. So helping them all get stats or feel part of the team is a good thing, and encourages them to stay with you the next season, and the next, etc, which makes recruiting a whole lot easier.

So while 15 will be a magic number for early mid levels, I would aim higher because it will serve an ultimate benefit for your team.

I thought that you would get 50% of max XP even without playing a single play. Essentially, 50% of XP up until you reach a number of plays sufficient to gain more. Therefore, if you play that minimum # of plays you will still only receive 50% of max XP.

No you start at 50% and the max exp ceiling is cut in half.

You did misread.

You get 50% experience just for showing up to the game. Every play after basically gives you 2x the old experience point reward, meaning you need only 1/2 the previous number of plays to reach 100% experience.
