Very simple change, but it needs to happen for any CBs to take the Returner archetype. All I've done here is moved Stamina to a minor attribute. Due to their different roles outside of special teams, the offensive returners and defensive returners should not be grouped together. If you ask anybody familiar with building returners, they'll tell you it's mostly about Speed and Agility. Now I'm not saying that's all you need to have a successful returner, but it's crucial that those two attributes get the same gains as the rest of the CB archetypes.

(CB) 5'8" - 6'2", 170-210 Lbs
Major: Agility Carrying Speed Vision (+.5)
Minor: Confidence Jumping Strength Stamina (+.25)
Bonus SA's (CB) - Change Direction, Return Spec.
Penalty SA's (CB) - Super Vision, Shutdown Coverage

Damn, that's one appealing (but not overpowering) archetype!

I brought this up a few times and have been following you and ChicagoRTS post your thoughts about it too. I agree 100% that the archetype needs to be modified.
WR archetypes are also pretty damn weak. Currently, the only ones that have speed AND catching as majors are the speedsters who are underpowered in pretty much everything else. Would be understandable if they got .5 ALG's like every other position, but they only get .4 which is pretty damn lame. Seriously, who the hell says that possession receivers should be slow? Do Steve Smith, Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison, or Muhsen Muhammed ring a bell to anyone? Receiving TE's and scat back HB/FB's archetypes are far superior to WR's at this point.

NGTH. Bort & Co. are fucking strict when limiting certain "opportunities" for a build. They don't want to "Break" the game, yet they want players to have a certain uniqueness to them. I agree 100% with your suggestion, but I highly doubt it will happen

You'd be crazy to build a returner out of one of the defensive archetypes. You're hanging up on the .4 vs the .5 and over looking the fact that Returner Ach doesn't waste any ALGS like the others would.

Man CB wastes .5 in gains to tackling and catching (16% of your algs go poof)
Zone CB wastes .75 for (25%)
HH wastes .5 on tackling and vision is only a .25 minor.
Combo also wastes .5 and have vision as a minor.

and none of them have carrying--your 3rd or 4rth attribute.

And returner has less minors .33 is a nice big minor.

And stamina is pretty important for returners.

The difference between the current algs are your algs is the difference between being overpowered and not. I would pick you returner archetype over any HB archetype.
