We're on the cusp of seeing something new come in that will change how players are made. I know a few weeks back their was a pretty good thread on making plateaus longer or quickening experience. I do think in general experience needs a good looking at. One thing that really always bothered me was how players at lvl 28 actually lose ground on players who are over lvl 40. This never made sense to me that suddenly in a players 4th season or so they quit catching up to those who are higher. It makes more sense to have experience stop when VA experience peaks imo.

Funny, I just made a suggestion about 10 minutes ago on this exact same thing.

I like it...would be nice to acknowledge that lower levels is just a waiting game until a player matures...would be nice to get to the maturity point that much quicker.

More pro/mature level dots to occupy the uncapped leagues...much less capped leagues would be a huge plus. Should also be much easier for GLB to manage.

I think most agents who have multiple players at various levels ignore their young dots anyway.

It could be as simple as doubling experience for the first five seasons...hit maturity at age 200...age 200-480 prime where the player is just adding VAs and training.

This is definitely one change that would really add to my interest in the game...I hate the fact that now I spend 9 seasons to build a player that will be good for 2 or 3 seasons.

To consider the business side of all this, you would have to allow boosting even after hitting maturity though. Im 100% behind the quicker levelling early on, and earlier plateau in terms of XP gains, but you have to allow boosting past a player's 5 first seasons so the business continues to make money. Not sure how many problems would be caused by allowing players to level to 85 (level 70 after 5 seasons + 3 boosts X 5 more seasons), but this would seem to be a win-win all around. This subject is popping up all over the place right now, so i think it should be looked into quite seriously

Operative being that player doesn't get to L70 without boosting the first 5, but only around L57-58.

so is this change being made and that's why it was moved to the forum dedicated to current or upcoming changes?
