And the regular season has finally come to a close. The Lordaeron Heroes managed a playoff berth despite going CPU mid-season, the HORDE ended on a four-game skid, and The Matrix 2 and the Gashlycrumb Tinies each managed to go 16-0 despite some pretty tough competition all around.

In the West, the playoff picture was pretty clear. There were several wins' difference between the #8 team and the #9. In the East, it was far less clear. Hamilton Banzai Soldier was unfortunate because Lordaeron picked up a late win against another CPU opponent to give them a tie, and Lordaeron held the tiebreaker from earlier in the season before the Heroes went CPU.

It's pretty clear that the computer favors the East over the West, given that all four of the most likely final matchup scenarios have the East winning. Don't count out any of the top 8 or so teams in the conference, though; the playoffs are a whole other animal, and it's anybody's game.
