Edited due to the fact That I am an IDIOT! I somehow confused confidence with stamina, and am now totally screwed. Yes I would be laughing if I was you too, in fact I am! OH well, My wife has always told me I am am an old and feeble minded man! This just is another example that she is right!

This is not like some play that is an exploit or some VA that boosts their ability when they are behind. This effects a players BUILD!! A player's training combination and order of build that is already in the process of building. For those of you who do not think that is important, then you do not know how to build. With this VA, I could bring a player to my team that has 34 stamina or 50 vision (depending on position) with the knowledge I have time to train/build that up. Thus giving me the ability to work other attributes higher before going to those 2 attributes Now in the middle of those builds you take them away. WHY? really how is that VA giving you too much of an advantage, I will grant you that there should be a limit on vision as it can give a big advantage for DB's who already have 78 vision.

How about making it just a reduction in ability for Vision and leave the Stamina alone? Or limit the amount of points it can help, so that maybe it would be 25% up to a total 4 points in Vision or say 8 points in stamina. But to take away 18.5% is way to much of an effect on many players that had been built with this VA in mind!

Dropping from 25% to 7.5% hardly seems worth keeping a player that is declining and can't boost. Wouldn't the reducing mentors to one per position be enough?

I still think the networks will have their mentors. I think this change will only reduce the number of FA mentors for the teams that are not a part of any network.

if this is the case then i vote we need to get rid of mentor all together at once. the problem would be for players with multiple third down VAs and only one reset. for example we typically mentor the younger player on defense. he'll have clutch and third down stopper but if mentor is gone then the older player would be better and needs to be the starter but wouldn't be able to properly reset in the future.

So what this means is you're gonna get rid of mentor which is free, and add coaching which will cost us more flex per season?

sounds like thats what they are trying to do to me! Borts been pushing that coaching thing forever!

New formulas for you Mr. Stern:

GLB game changes > more flex AND more flex = more people quitting GLB!

This game can be frustrating at times. It seems like the big kids always get to play with the cool new features while the younger kids can only prepare to play with the new features. The problem is that when the younger agents finally get close to joining in on the fun the fun gets nerfed.

This. Phasing it out by effectively making it not worth the 15 Vet points is silly. Just remove it and give out a VA reset next season.
