I need to focus some time on picking up the suddenly struggling GRiTs so these are going to be short and sweet.
1) Windhoek White Rhinos (W) - Pretty simple, win out and the number one seed is theirs. I don't see that as a problem, next big game will be with the Shrimp for the right to meet the GRiTs in the finals.
2) District 9 Prawns (W) - All that stands in their way for the one seed is a Rhino's loss, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Also the hottest team in APL right now, the closest thing to number one you will get is the two ones you see in 11 in a row. Great job....
3) Nairobi Warthogs (W) - Very hot team in Elephant right now has most definitely been the most under the radar team this season. Please be gentle on the GRiTs, we are in a very fragile state right now....
4) Sons of Anubis (W) - Not sure what happened with this team after smoking the GRiTs with 700 4th quarter points, they failed to show up this afternoon. Either way, I'll keep you at 4 based on wins over the GRiTs and Clash.
5) Carthage Clash (W) - A win here today and the #1 seed was yours! I don't care what anyone says, todays loss was an upset! Great job to the Predators, who remain as the most consistent inconsistent team in APL

6) Swaziland Dachshunds (W) - Hardly an upset today against the GRiTs, this team owns us and what is even better is that if the playoffs started today we would get you in the first round. Our games are battles with the last two being decided in the 4th!
7) Kickin Djibouti (W) - Some awful passing stats in this one today, but that was a dominating defensive effort! Still a team to beat in Elephant as this team could just as easily be in WPL right now.
8) Pirgos Warlords (W) - Looks like the GM issues are sorted and the offense and defense worked well together today. Maybe Kylos just did the offense and defense? When they upset someone in round one, I will give a nice loud told you so!
9) GRiTs (L) - Defense held it's own today while the offense slept walk through another game to suffer yet another loss. Everything was there for our game with Nairobi to be a 1st place showdown but we did not deliver in the clutch! Our mojo is completely gone and as I look at our roster I see a bunch of grey beards just begging to be retired!
10) Sahara Storm (L) - Somewhat surprising loss today but none the less this team has performed very well in APL this season. One way to get over a loss, slay the Rhino!
Seriously though, has anyone seen or heard from Forbin? He was an active participant early on and now has just fell off the face of the APL world! Sadly the end is near for this pesky bunch, while the Predators would have to do something really stupid to not grab the 8th spot! Apologies to the rest of Lion, I just honestly feel that if we stuck the Predators in Lion, they would be in 3rd place! Playoffs right around the corner....
