1) WWR should go into the POs as the #1 seed. Sure, they token boosted and RNGed their way to this spot, but they got it. They'll have an interesting game against Sahara Storm and Fever can be a very dangerous team, but they should have saved up enough BTs to safely boost their way to 2 Ws to finish off the ssn.
2) D9 has the easiest sched left. We should hang on and finish 2nd, despite rightfully deserving the #1 slot
3) I'm going way out on a limb here and give the Swaziland Semnikati an extremely narrow W against Sarah in their final game of the ssn. With a W next over a scrappy and admirable, but not quite ready yet QCQ team, that would give them the #3 slot.
4) Sahara Storm really has the toughest stretch of games left. Just going 1-1 would be nothing to be ashamed of in the least and 0-2 is VERY understandable. I gave the nod to the APL old timers and think Sahara will end the ssn on a 3 game skid. Losing today to an always dangerous RRR team really hurt them, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they held on to 3rd, either. Anyway you look at it, the new comers have done themselves proud in their 1st ssn in APL. Kudos!
5) Carthaginian doesn't have an "easy" sched left, but they should sweep the Headhunters & Mountaineers to finish 11-5
6) Anyway you look at it, Fever has a road game to start the ssn. The only ? is where they play. Next to Sahara, they have by far the toughest road, with games against RRR & WWR to finish up the ssn. I say WWR tokens to beat them and then they take RRR in a close one, allowing them to finish at 10-6
7) I REALLY, SERIOUSLY, HONESTLY don't want to play JJ in round 1. So, of course they'll win out and end up in 7th, setting up yet another @$%ing ssn when I have to play those troublesome bastards twice (and I say that with the greatest respect, sincerely).
8) After a telling week 15, this is now the Rwanda Headhunters' spot to lose. Holding the tie breaker over the Silverbacks, they beat the Sahara Sand Monsters and it's all theirs. On paper, they should win. The bad news for the Silverbacks is that, after trip ups in week 1 & 3, the Headhunters have been beating the teams they should.
