With the season 3/4 over, I figured I would take a stab at what I think will be the Western Conference playoff picture at the end of the regular season...

Seed#:
1: Tombstone Outlaws @ 15-1
2: Atlantic City Surf @ 13-3
3: Wood Village Whistle Pigs @ 11-4-1
4: Chicago 85' Bears @ 10-5-1
5: Nawlins Pugsimo @ 10-5-1
6: Lone Star Mercenaries Mercenary @ 10-6
7: Requiem Revolver @ 9-7
8: Andromeda Strain @ 9-7

I just don't know the East as well, so someone do that. Also, have a different opinion, by all means, post it!!!

If you go 3-1 in the last 4 games, you will. But if you go 2-2, then it might come down to a tie breaker and your loss to AS doesn't help.

If we take down Lone Star though, we might have a tiebreaker over them.

Just to point out.....The Minutemen are 7-5, and face two bye week teams, so if Requiem and Andromeda finish at 9-7, even if we lose our last 2 real games.......we would get the 7th spot in that case, having defeated both

But hey, the way we have been playing lately, I wouldnt be surprised to lose to Bye Week lol

I was at work, didn't notice that you had beaten them both. You are correct in that if you go 2-2 the remaining games, you will likely get one of the last seeds. The last 2-3 seeds are the hardest to predict as they are wide open and many teams could get them.

I went through and actually got something very similar. The key team seems to be LoneStar.

If they lose to Baltimore or DI, things could get very interesting. The 2nd tiebreaker is points ALLOWED, meaning LSMM likely wouldn't make the playoffs if they lose to Baltimore and there is a 5-way tie at 9-7. Currently, it looks like Boston & Requiem would get 2 of the spots; Baltimore has been playing great defense recently, but the AC game hurts them, and they have some good teams left, but I'd guess that they'd still sneak in over Andromeda.

If DI can knock off LSMM, coupled with wins over Boston & Agency (which they should do), they'd jump up to the 6th seed. Boston would still likely get the 7th, and then RR would be battling with AS and either LSMM or Baltimore.

The RR vs Baltimore game the final week has the potential to be a doozy.

1) Tombstone 15-1
2) AC Surf 12-4
3) Pigs 11-4-1
4) Bears 10-5-1
5) Nawlins 10-5-1
6) LoneStar 10-6
7) Boston 9-7 (beat RR & AS)
8) Requiem 9-7 (beat AS)
---------------------------
9) Andromeda 9-7
10)Dharma 8-7-1
11)Baltimore 8-8
12)Agency 5-11

In hind sight, had I noticed that Boston had the tie breaker against RR and AS, I would have come up with the same seeds as Ping did. But Ping is right, a lot of different things can happen before seeds 6-8 are set. Even the middle seeds are not set and some shuffling could happen there as well. Remember that this is Gold and the saying "any given Sunday" does apply here.

It appears the Strain should of sold out to beat those Dharma bums.

You've got three more easy wins on the schedule putting you at 9-6. Beating the Whistle Pigs is the only thing you need to worry about, which will put you at 10-6 and in the playoffs. You don't hold the tie-breaker vs. Boston or RR, so you just need to focus on winning that one game.

How close is Gold?

vs RR - L 21 - 28
vs. Chicago 85 Bears - T - 21 - 21
vs. Baltimore Gulls - L 0 - 7
vs. WVWP - L 13 - 17

The difference between being 10-5-0 and 6-5-1 is 22 points in 4 games.

The Agency is a long shot, to say the least, at making the playoffs this season, but we do plan on being spoilers for somebody.

Week 13 update:

No change other than to correct my overlook of Boston having the tie breaker against both AS and RR...

Seed#:
1: Tombstone Outlaws @ 15-1
2: Atlantic City Surf @ 13-3
3: Wood Village Whistle Pigs @ 11-4-1
4: Chicago 85' Bears @ 10-5-1
5: Nawlins Pugsimo @ 10-5-1
6: Lone Star Mercenaries Mercenary @ 10-6
7: Boston Minutemen @ 9-7
8: Requiem Revolver @ 9-7
----------------------------------------------------------------
9: Andromeda Strain @ 9-7
10: Dharma Initiatives @ 8-7-1
11: Baltimore Gulls @ 8-8
12: The Agency @ 5-11

Key games:

Week 14: Lone Star vs DI = This is LS's last human game, win and they are in, loose and it depends on other games. For DI, they must win 2 of their final 3 to make the playoffs and they need a win here because it's unlikely they will beat PugsIMO in week 15.

Week 16: RR vs Gulls = winner will likely make the playoffs, looser will not.
