Here is the problem i see forthcoming. We added the new archetypes, i am all for that! sounds like a great implementation, but we also add new strict rules to teams rebuilding?? Now, a lot of upper teams want to rebuild to test out these new archetypes, but they are being limited by this new demotion money loss addition. My question is why would we add a situation everybody likes.... then add an addition that makes you have to "give away" something just to be a part of a new addition. if a thread has already been made on this... sorry. merge it.

Equipment is supposed to be getting reworked as well. Money may not be as important as it is now.

It's actually working out to be 4 changes, possibly 5, I'd guess before it's all done.

The two had to go together otherwise there would have been major gutting of teams, who would have gone to lower levels with fully functioning stadiums, and they would have been able to pay larger salaries and dominated unfairly.
If you want to try out one of these new archetype characters, do so. But you team will need to create a new, developmental squad or if you gut your current team you will have to compete on equal footing with new teams.
I am glad that GLB is doing it the way it is. Thanks!

No, actually, you're more likely to see a lot of non-competitive teams scattered through the various levels waiting for players to grow up and fill teams. Just have to get new cap 4/14 teams for a couple seasons and piece together some semblance of a roster on the money team at higher levels, then move the players there when levels/caps are aligned.
Fix the issues without resetting teams and then teams are free to move to where they need to be:
1) XP not dependent on getting plays allows full teams to be formed without worrying about reduced XP for players.
2) wealth sharing based on "team value", league average team value, league average salary, etc.
3) move the cost of equipment to be leveling earned "equipment points" so all players earn their equipment and are not dependent on the teams to provide cash.
This also solves the issue of current teams in lower level caps having an advantage with stadium/cash over the next several seasons.

Except staying put is more costly than dropping down. New system means you fill your roster or lose your stadium.
