Lion Conference:
Rwanda Headhunters vs. African Fever:
Both of these teams are coming off of tough losses to top teams. They're both in the playoff hunt and need to get a W.. this one will be a battle for sure! I think the Headhunters will get out to an early lead and prove resistent to a Fever (by 3)
Swaziland Semnikati vs. Tanzania Mountaineers:
Swaziland is in a spin after getting upset by RRR and then rolled by the Rhinos.. they need to get back on track in order to keep thoughts of a home playoffs game! Mountaineers are having a tough season and I don't think an angry Semnikati team is what they wanted to see! SS by 17
Angola Dream vs. Nigeria Nightmares:
Two different teams heading in two different directions.. the Dream are hoping to get a W at somepoint otherwise it's AAA bound.. the Nightmares however have "Dreams" of the playoffs and need every W possible! Nightmares are scarier then Dreams.. by 18
RRR vs. Zambezi Silverbacks:
It looks like the owner of the Silverbacks must be back and translating his sand script for everybody! While RRR took a really tough loss last week and both teams NEED a W here! I don't even know if Silverbacks can swim to I'll take the River by 10
**War Elephants vs. Sahara Storm:**
**Time for these strong youngsters to lock horns and that's why this is the Game of the Week!! The Storm have proven that they are a very capable team so far this season.. and so have the War Elephants!! This one is going to be a battle for sure! I think this one comes down to turnovers.. and unfortunatley for the War Elephants they don't take care of the ball as well as the Storm does.. Storm by 6!
WWR vs. Johannesburg Jackals:
The Jackals have finally figured it out this season and are riding a 3 game win streak! Unfortunately that's where the good news ends.. WWR is in full coast mode but they can afford to do that with the talent that they have! WWR by 35
D9 vs. Tanzania Lumberjacks:
There is just no question about this one.. and D9 will chop down the Lumberjacks like a logging company in Alaska! D9 by 40
Sahara Sand Monsters vs. Quad Cities:
The other Sahara has officially thrown in the towel (or so they say) but I just don't see them being willing to be Quad Cities first W in APL.. I think the Sand Monsters are un"Quarantine"able.. SSM by 14

Carthage Clash vs. Egyptian War Gods:
Hays23 and the Clash are just plain angry right now.. which is not good news for the War Gods... I'll give EWG credit for the better logo and Clash credit for the better team! Clash will continue to roll +38
**Sons of Anubis vs. Pirgos Warlords:
**This is the Game of the Week in Elephant by far!! The Warlords have been taking care of business game in and game out.. but now it's time for them to really get tested again! Sons are coming off a little bit chaos lately and looking to make a statement! Even if it's a homer pick SoA by 10
Nairobi Warthogs vs. Somalia Warlords:
The Warthogs are riding high after big wins over SoA and the Dachshunds.. while the Warlords are happy to have ended that skid and look to start a streak of a different kind! Neither of these teams force a lot of turnovers so I think it will be who can limit their opponent to 3 instead of 7! Warthogs keep charging to the top by 4!
Swaziland Dachshunds vs. AFF:
The Dachshunds are coming off a tough loss to the Warthogs and looking make a statement against AFF.. The Fighters have won a competitive game since Feb. 15 so I don't see them being able to fight off these angry little dogs.. Swazi by 20
MM Lions vs. SS Huskies:
These two teams are really feeling the pain of APL.. both have solid squads they just aren't ready to make any noise here! What this one really comes down to is the fact that the Huskies can't protect their QB (106 hurries & 56 sacks allowed) and they can't run the ball either 53.8 yards/game 1.5yards/attempt! It's not always the case but this time the big cat is more leathal then the dog.. Lions by 13
The African Predators vs. Kickin Djibouti:
The Predators are the best 5-5 team around.. but that's like being the skiniest kid at fat camp.. sure it's nice but what does it really do for you! While Kickin' rolls into "The Jungle" with the top passer and receiving TE in the league! If you can't stop them you can't win this one Predators.. I expect the Predators to keep the ball on the ground and control the clock.. but in the end is see the Predators getting Kicked.. by 8
Uganda Mounties vs. Rhodesia Ratels:
The Ratels are coming into Flinn Field with bad intentions.. after a tough loss last week they're looking to gnaw off somebodies ankles! The Mounties just happen to be the team in the wrong place at the wrong time!! Ratels by 21
Cracker Party vs. GRiTS:
