(N.M.I) Pagan Fire Eaters vs. Death Dealers
This should be a good game. Both of these teams are good and on the upswing so long as they keep moving in a positive direction after this season. I wouldn't be surprised if this one comes down to a Fire Eaters take away somewhere in the 4th. N.M.I. by 10
Fiji Ventures vs. Indianapolis Gurupies
Not much to see here this season as Fiji has struggled mightily. Indy is really hitting their stride and will face little to no resistance tonight. Gurupies by 144
Taylor Bulldogs vs. Eastern European Alliance
Taylor has really fallen off the radar of most postseason analysts. I know they have a good staff so I suspect they are not working with all the desired pieces of their puzzle. EEA has not had any real bad losses (TMI is no joke) so I still consider them at the top rung in Alpha. I wish this would be a good game but sadly I don't expect it to be. Alliance by 48
Telstar Rebels vs. Guam Chamoros Rising Sun Devils
Man, what history here yet when I look at this seasons match up I just can't see it turning out to be much of a game. I haven't seen the players Guam recruited this past off season but I can't imagine they can be too happy with the production they have received from them for the most part. I have seen few teams take such an enormous step backward in a season without cause and I hate that we have witnessed that this season with the Sun Devils. If they can stay together I have no doubt they will be better in a season and probably make their way back to OPL but this is going to continue to a disaster for the next 11 weeks. Telstar has had their own problems but they too are a great organization and have a ton of heart so if they can hold serve for a few weeks I could see them moving back up as some teams find the losing end of the grinder. Rebels by 63
Three Mile Island Meltdowns vs. Gold Coast Michelin Men
This could be a game that comes down to who wants it more. Does GCMM want to remain #1 and undefeated more or does TMI want to remain in the top 8 more. I can't truly answer that but I can tell you we want to keep being able to tell folks we are #1 in OPLA I think my boys have a bit of an advantage on paper and if we can protect the ball we should win by 2 scores. If Three Mile can get a takeaway or 2 we could be in trouble. I may be a bit biased but I am picking the Michelin Men this week. GCMM by 17
Freedom Town Band of Brothers vs. Melbourne Marvels
I think this game is a candidate for GOTW. If FTBB can get the upset here it goes a long way in getting them into the playoff hunt and makes additional losses very costly for the Marvels. Both of these teams have a great staff and tons of talent so look for this one to be a scorcher. FTBB by 6
Springville Renagades vs. Christchurch Fighting Maori
Another game that is rightly being billed as a GOTW candidate, this match up has the potential for either a high scoring affair or if the Ds guess right a defensive battle. This game also will likely come down to missed tackles and turnovers. I expect a certain game plan from the Maori and if they do in fact run something like it I feel they will probably be too much for Springville. The Renagades are a good team however and will not go down without a fight if at all so keep your eyes on this one. Christchurch by 13
Micronesia Megalodons vs. Gold Coast Vipers
The Vipers are in a great spot right now but they need to win out to stay in the home game portion of the top 8. luckily for them they are getting a team that probably needs another season. Look for GCV to dominate all phases of the game tonight. Vipers by 56
