Yeah, it's a GM script. Basically, the score predictor does something like this:
T1PF - Team 1 Average Points For
T1PA - Team 1 Average Points Against
T1OPF - Team 1's Opponents' Average Points For (on the season; not the same as T1PA)
T1OPA - Team 1's Opponents' Average Points Against (on the season, not the same as T1PF)
(same stuff for T2)

T1PF * T2PA * ( (T1OPA + T2OPF) / 2 ) / (T1OPA * T2OPF) = T1 Score
T2PF * T1PA * ( (T2OPA + T1OPF) / 2 ) / (T2OPA * T1OPF) = T2 Score

So it's basically pitting T1's offense against T2's defense, scaled by T1's offensive efficiency on the season and T2's defensive efficiency on the season.

The rankings script is based on garrettfoster's ranking script with a few tweaks and with some of the bugs fixed.

EDIT: and I make no claims of accuracy--that's why I'm testing the script right now in your league. I figure your league has a nice combination of parity and lolparity, so I can see where the weaknesses of the script are.

wow thanks gerr you put that in there and somehow Gabon upsets us. 21 pts in the 1st quarter and didnt score the rest of the game. whats up with that?

LOL, I didn't write the script, but so far, it's been fairly accurate.

I'm not sure if its possible but it would be great if the script took into account football scores, for example instead of scoring 1 make it 0 or instead of 22 make it 21.

The only score that is NOT a football score is 1. Some aren't very likely, but they're possible.

2004. I'm sure it's happened other times, I just knew this one off the top of my head b/c I'm an Iowa fan. That was the year we hit the miracle last play TD against LSU in the Capital One bowl.
