Well I told dzer13 that I would try to get this in... I have a window of time to try in do this instead of being a kid and making bad, non compassionate comments...

I believe someone stated somewhere that we have the Feebs playing the Razorback Nation tonight... hmm interesting, but I must say I have another game I believe may be even more interesting to note (Sorry Stink). That is the game of the Moscow Mad Cows and Berlin Kreuzberg Red Stars facing off!

Moscow and Berlin have both one loss on the season, yet Berlin is undefeated in Zeta.... But lets see those bars!
http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=6530&team2=5829
hmm... enticing... Lets break these two down a bit more!

Berlin Kreuzberg Red Stars
This team seemed to have recipe for a title run last season if not at least a Conference Title... unfortunately things did not work out, but here they are again, making a strong case at another title run! The top 4 of Zeta (Berlin, Moscow, Feebs, and Souls) are by far the tightest competition I have every seen; with this being said... Berlin will have their work cut out for them, but don't expect Moscow to win by big! This game takes Berlin's rushing game to the test, as this squad averages 314.6 yards a game on the ground and has the least amount of fumbles/fumbles lost in all of OPL! Not only is their ground game one of the best in Zeta so is their Passing game as they have the second most passing yards in the Zeta Conference with 2439.5 yards so far on the season! This squad is an offensive juggernaut scoring on who ever as they have already toppled two Zeta teams in the top four (Feebs and Lost Souls) That is why your team is ranked number one bearstightend! (DA Bears!) Another X factor that should be taken into account for this game is that of Berlins ability to force fumbles... they currently have 60 on the season which is the highest in Zeta and out of those 60, 41 of them has been recovered giving them a fumble recovery rate of 60% not the highest, but it is the most fumbles recovered... I only add this because the Mad Cows have the third highest fumbles in Zeta and may cause issues!

VS

Moscow Mad Cows
These mighty new comers lead by owner dzer13 have been down right nasty so far in Zeta, but yet have had any real quality wins like Berlin has, not that they have not beat anyone good, they did take down the team they lost to in season 13 pretty impressively (TMI of Alpha). Yet they did suffer a tough loss at the hands of College Town which is right up there in the top four as stated early! Like Berlin Moscow has a very efficient running game, the only draw back was that of their fumbling issues. Moscow has put down an average of 294.6 yards a game on the ground and have scored a Conference high of 57 TDs on the ground... funny enough as that seems to be Berlins weak spot as they have given up 13 TDs on the Ground compared to their just 3 in the Air.... This game could be very close knowing that Berlin has aloud some TDs to get in on the ground where as Moscow's TDs from the ground is only three... What will give? One X factor may be the turn over game knowing that Moscow is the second best team in Zeta at producing sacks, sitting at 79 could help them on the road to victory?

Final Thoughts:
These two teams are about as even as can be offensively and Defensively... where one is better another is...
Key Wins and losses for these squads:
Berlin Wins: Feebs and Lost Souls. Losses: EEA of Alpha

Moscow Wins: TMI of Alpha Losses: Feebs

Berlin 20 Moscow 17
Very hard to even try to pick a score here as it can go either way, but so far Berlin has proven they can beat tops in Zeta!

Even though I am a Bears fan, my gut is telling me the Cows edge this one out in a close game.

Wow... I only now discovered this thread. Great writeup, and almost prophetic with respect to the role turnovers played in the game, which could have been a lot closer without them.

Also, it's nice to know we have some supporters in the league! Thanks bug03 & kingofgod

Edit: Oh, and while I already said GG in the GG thread and via PM: GG Moscow. I'm sure we'll meet again, and with the luck we usually have, you'll win the really important game.

Thanks for the write-up! Very good breakdown. You had the fumble issue just right, though we all know the MMC will get that cleaned up for the playoff run! GG, Cows!
