Yeah, this. Everyone (specially since there will be plenty of new archetype teams) should start on the same page.

Also, as a bonus, this rule will allow teams who got in over their head (new owners usually) a way to reset, start over with some new money, and get it right.

could have just not created so many leagues to begin with

This game has underwent quite a bit of contraction and Bort has not contracted the leagues enough to keep up.

This. I really wish there were less leagues/teams. Getting rid of a region would help a lot. Could get rid of a lot of fluff. Could probably eliminate an entire region and just replace the teams that are trying (human owned and properly leveled) with all the guts and pro teams with lvl 40 players.

I'm happy to see this happening though. Tired of seeing the pros and AAAs filled with guts and teams with super low levels. Maybe need to raise the suggested levels too. Why is pro lvl 36+? Should be 50-55 to be more accurate. Still will be a lot of teams who move a farm team up like 4 seasons too early

Its going to be an interesting season 15 (and off season). I have a feeling a lot of teams are going CPU and a lot of free agent dots on the market at the lower levels.

Whew...

so the older agents that have already gutted get to keep $100M+ and the newer agents get screwed - seems like I have seen this before

retroactive removal of funds from the teams that banked $100M+? Nah, those are our boys - need to protect them

So basically Season 1 all over again? Build new players or fall behind the curve and wait it out till Season 15 players retire?
I'm trying to envision how this will all work out. .. I might be totally off here.

To prevent teams from sticking around at higher levels to keep their stadium and team cash, the following will be implemented if a team does not meet the league minimum level requirements or field a roster of at least 30 human players. This will be determined by a team not receiving any media revenue the last 3 game weeks of the season. Token media revenue will be added to leagues that currently do not get media revenue so that we can track this.

So what is the rule - I need 30 human players at the min level for that league or I need enough to qualify for media revenue?
