Halfway point and things are starting to heat up! 10 Teams in Elephant have playoffs on their mind while 13 in Lion have a chance. The top spots are still up for grabs and the final 8 should have some great matchups....
1) Sons of Anubis (W) - The Sons took a page out of the Dachshunds book and slapped a shutout on them today. Right now this team is playing lights out and will be tough to beat! I'm bumping them up a spot to number one for the simple fact I am tired of looking at the Rhino's!
2) Windhoek White Rhinos (W) - The Rhino's looked slow in the Red River, but were victorious none the less. Word around town is that Tricon and Sledge have been reading what the boys from D9 have been saying, but will let their play do the talking.
3)District 9 Prawns (W) - I am moving up PP and the boys just so they can get a good sniff of the Rhino's ass! I just have visions of Green Bay on my mind... Isn't a Prawn a shrimp?
4) Sahara Storm (W) - Let's see how you do against PP and is coat tail riding band of merry men! A featured game of the season no doubt!
5) Carthage Clash (W) - Hays is truly en fuego right now! 15 minutes of offense was all the GRiTs had today! Hats off to the OC, he found every hole in our defense and abused them to the max...All I can say is I hate you all!
6) GRiTs (L) - Remember that comment about the lap top flying out PP's window, my front lawn looks like we are having a mid winter yard sale right now. It was so bad I went to kick my own dog and missed...
7) Pirgos Warlords (W) - Another win puts them in the hunt for a 4 seed in APL, very impressive and only getting better.
8) Swaziland Semnikati (W) - A hard fought win over the Dream, with The Prodigy putting any hopes of a last second FG to rest with a sack!
9) Swaziland Dachshunds (L) - I'm leaving you here because I know you will be back no matter where I put you!
10) Nairobi Warthogs (W) - The front door was wide open, but the Hogs still want to sneak around back for a look in! 4th place right now, things are getting interesting....
