No formula. This is just my opinion of how the teams look.

1. West Side Goons - The Goons have looked very impressive. The offense is averaging over 175 points per game and the defense has yet to allow a score.
2. Delta Quadrant Borg - The Borg have won with relative ease in every game. They have not given up a rushing TD and have five shutouts.
3. Thor Hammer Taint Smiters - The third team in Zeta without a loss. They appear to have a few weak spots on defense. The next two games will tell the story.
4. Boomtown 89ers - The only loss is to the Borg. 89ers have only allowed three points in the seven wins.
5. Oregon Fighting Ducks - Again the only loss is to the Borg. The Ducks seem to get better each week.
6. Tallahassee Scalpers - Last week suffered the first loss of the season. The next three weeks will be very tough.
7. TCG Fightin' 52's - 52's get this spot only because they just beat the Crusaders. They need to keep winning if they want to make the playoffs.
8. Broomfield Huskers - The Huskers have played the toughest schedule so far. Are they going to start winning now?
9. Midwest Crusaders - Still a few CPU players on the roster. Not many wins left in the season.
10. Helena Cougers - The team note says rebuilding. They will still get a few more wins this season.
11. Nashville Nikes - Win number two should come soon.
12. Spaghetti Hill Spazs - The two game win streak won't last long.
13. San Jose Spartans - By default. Entire team of CPU players
14. Purple Headed Yogurt Slingers - Entire team of CPU players
15. Nepal Bengals - Entire team of CPU players with an owner that has been inactive for over a month.
16. Thunder Bay Vandals - CPU owned. I refuse to rank a CPU team higher than last.

Well... No formula seems better than with a formula. And more entertaining to boot.

Thanks for doing this writeup. I don't usually publish without a writeup myself.

That said, I have to LOL a bit at this. We had some issues with our DC to start the season getting caught up in some RL issues that prevented him from spending enough time working the D. He stepped down, and since the new guy took over, we've given up 3 points in 4 games.

Now, I'll grant, the competition hasn't exactly been stiff all year, so yeah, we're looking forward to the tests coming up.

(edit)

First test passed.

Boomtown is certainly looking forward to the next few games. Scalpers, Goons, Taint Smitters.... should be good fun!

The top 3 in the conference are well above us. Their depth is incredible and their players are incredibly well built. If we can pull out 2 wins over the next 3 I'll be pleasantly surprised. At this level game planning can only do so much...

to answer your question will the huskers start winning now, i think we will rattle off 6 in a row and the last one is a toss up, with that poor of a start i think we may back door our way to a playoff spot.
