Another 2-2 day, season record of 17-8. It goes to show how solid this league is top to bottom, it is called elite for good reason. I have to comment on people's use of whether to use AI or not to use AI. My opinion is, if you don't use it, why not? I love the offensive and defensive AI -- just tinkering with it, experimenting, etc. I just wish you could have an offensive play builder like the defensive one, how cool would that be? I would throw in flea flickers, reverses, and special teams gimmick plays. Who does not love a gimmick play, even when it fails miserably... Back to my picks:

1. B.S. Buccs (7-0) vs Blackrock Reapers (5-2). I can't wait to see the Buccs go up against the KC double D's!! For now though, it will be a grim day for the Reapers, as the Buccs roll. The Buccs are quickly becoming one of my favorites in this league, they keep winning impressively.

2. Falls City Beavers (6-1) vs Chili "bean" Dogs (5-2). The mighty wieners snack and mack on the Beavers in this game, as they both go to 6-2. Nuff said.

3. Coronado Boltz (4-3) vs Duluth Eskimos (5-2). I like the Eskimos to bring it to the Boltz and put them in the deep freeze. Go Smos! However, they had better be careful to avoid the upset, the Boltz are not a gimme by any means. Escondido, SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTNING BOLT!! Seeing as how I grew up in San Diego, I sure miss hearing that on the radio.

4. Hamburg Kraken (7-0) vs TB Tarheels (6-1). The game of the day. Hamburg is the self professed, "Worst of the undefeated teams." Is that a smoke screen, or modesty? Or is it even believable? This game will tell the tale. These two teams look pretty even on paper, but who will win? I went with the Tarheels to beat the Buccs last game, and I got bit right in the fleshy area. Hmmm, I have not learned my lesson evidently, and am going with the Heels again in a mild upset. This one really will come down to game planning, who chooses to take the time, and who does not??

Regards, Jeremy.

Double Deuce, Tarheels, and Buccs 3 out of the last 4 games.... what a stretch.

Undefeated rolls. Sorry Reapers (nice play on words by the way with "grim reaper."

I like the Beavers in this one to cruise to 7-1. Doubt it will be close.

I've liked Duluth for a long time now, and even though I wish I could side with my former and current league-mate Coronado, I'm going with Duluth yet again.

The team has chosen to provide no comment to the media at this time other than their opinion that the Tarheels are a great football team.

Regards, Jeremy.

Hopefully you go 2-2 this week again.
