Man, my inbox was hopping this week!
Most people who sent me messages decided to ignore the warning I put before my brilliant rankings. Everyone is angry that their team, in the World of Committee, basically is getting shit on every week by someone smarter than them. So, I’ve decided to give everyone a look at what these rankings would be like if in bizarro world, where The Committee is actually nice and supportive.
This should be fun, right?
*Warning: The more serious you take these…well, let’s just say you’d be delusional because these are fake as hell*
Alpha:
The Playoff Teams:
1. Krakow Plumbers Crack
Krakow is just too good. This is like a mix of LeBron James, Megan Fox, and the city of Las Vegas. It’s just a stew of awesomeness. As good (!!) as all these others teams are in this league, it’s going to be really tough to catch these guys.
2. Zagreb Titans
Zagreb is the other team in Alpha that is undefeated right now. Clearly they’re still undefeated because they’re a really good team. With the exception of Krakow and possibly the Hungarian Revolution, they’ve already faced the teams they need to beat to be a high seed in this conference, and they still have an outside shot at the number one seed. Man, that Zagreb versus Krakow game later on this season really should be a good, hard fought battle of evenly matched teams. Right? Right??
3. Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets
The Green Hornets have experience aplenty. I would never try to disrespect the undefeated Titans in any way, but this team, Krakow aside, may have the best set-up for a run in the Pro’s, and they already have the experience of being there. We all know that I just adore some of these Alpha teams, and this is one of my true favorites.
4. Hungarian Revolution
The Revolution, out of all of the Alpha teams, is the team that has moved up the farthest since my initial rankings. It’s really warmed my heart to see an overlooked team get a little chip on their shoulder and come out and win games where they’ve been the underdog. I just can’t wait to see if these guys can steal a couple more victories from the big dogs in Alpha and make some trophy noise.
5. Atlantis Whitecaps
I can’t describe what has happened to Atlantis this season as anything but a run of bad luck. This is a very good team, that’s had some tough losses. The good news here is that these guys should have some time to get ready for their matchup with Krakow. The teams they play before then are certainly great, but Atlantis should be able to overcome them.
6. Constantinople Charioteers
Another team that has had a run of bad luck. Constantinople decided to put fate in their own hands in their last game and play possibly their best game of the season against the Vienna Sausages. The Charioteers have the talent to play with everyone in this league, but with three losses to teams ranked ahead of them, they’ll have to refocus their energies towards some playoff upsets. I think they can do it!
7. The Gods
I really don’t think it’s a surprise that these guys are 6-1. This is truly a solid team, but I just can’t quite put them ahead of Atlantis and Constantinople quite yet. The Gods are heading into the toughest part of their schedule and if they can score a couple wins over the next five weeks they’ll make the move up in the rankings a no brainer.
8. Vienna Sausages
The Sausages played their hearts out last week. It was really tough to move them down in the rankings, but it had to be done. I hope these guys aren’t beating themselves up, because I think they’re still a solid playoff team with a good amount of upside. I fully expect a good game against Krakow this week.
Awesome Teams I wish I could Include in the Playoffs
9. River City Renegades
This team’s offense is really struggling. I think if they can figure it out and string together some victories, they have a shot at challenging The God’s and Vienna for a playoff spot. Also, for the record, whoever thinks that a Level 39 player can’t play at this level is dumb! Look at those numbers he’s putting up!
10. Vatican City Bishops
Vatican City running back John David Crow is averaging 8.2 yards per carry and 35 touchdowns on the season, all for a team that is struggling and facing higher level competition regularly. Quite an impressive feat. Props to him from The Committee.
11. Vatican City Paranoid Agnostic
The twin greatness of Vatican City is completed here with the Agnostic. I’ve been a fan of this team from day one, so it wasn’t surprising to me when they beat The Gods earlier this season, but I bet it was for everyone else. Week 15 and 16 loom large for this team. If they can steal a couple, they’re another group that could surprise and land in the playoffs.
Struggling teams with a lot of talent
12. Estonian Enforcers
I think we should all pause in this space and give notice to Estonian’s last game. Sure, it was a loss, but it was their best loss of the season. They played Atlantis better than they did Vienna. We’ll see if things are finally starting to click for these guys, and if they can steal a couple wins to salvage their season.
13. Texas Red Dragons
Last week my alter-ego said that he would rather drink Draino than watch the Red Dragons play. That’s not very nice, so in this space I would like to apologize to the Dragon’s organization. I would watch you guys play any time, I promise.
14. Warsaw Warriors
Please read above, and substitute the words ‘Red Dragons’ with Warriors. Thanks!

Zeta:
The Playoff Teams:
1. Kaunas Archangels
Everyone likes to talk up Kaunas, and for good reason. They were the best Zeta team to return to AAA this year, and so far they are undefeated. They have an offense that’s improved throwing the football, and their dominant ground game and defense haven’t missed a beat. Zeta is a stacked conference, but Kaunas still appears to be a cut above the rest.
2. Four Horsemen
Like my alter-ego, I too don’t believe that scrimmages are worth discussing in regards to these rankings. I do need to mention that it was certainly an honor for me to be included in the Top Performers section in the Kaunas – Four Horsemen game. It’s an incredible honor after a good game against a great team!
3. Philadelphia Demonik
I warn everyone not to write these guys off so quickly. One loss rarely ruins a team’s title chances. They’ll likely be getting a second shot at the Four Horsemen, and still have their game against Kaunas. These guys have everything it takes to make a title run, so keep an eye out for them as the rest of this season plays out.
4. Warsaw Gods of War
My secret ranking formula, the rankings behind the rankings, shows Warsaw just a few percentage points away from third place. The reasoning being putting up 36 points against Kaunas, the most Kaunas has given up since this very same Warsaw team put up 40 on them in Week 8 of Season 12. As the rankings stand right now, it’s possible that we may see another Warsaw-Kaunas battle in the playoffs.
5. Wroclaw Wrecking Crew
I have a sneaky feeling this team has really yet to be heard from. They faced an impossible interconference matchup against Krakow, and lost to Philly by only two points. If we can still include the Demonik in the title picture, then we still have to include Wroclaw as a sleeper. I’m really interested to see how they fare against Kaunas and their old friends the Horsemen, whom they face in back to back weeks.
6. Knossos Minotaurs
Knossos is a great team, but they’re going to have to get things together quickly if they want to get back to favorable playoff seeding. Games against Warsaw, Kaunas, and Philly remain, so the opportunity still exists. This was my preseason #2 team, and they still have that ability if they can put the early season losses behind them.
7. Valhalla Einherjar
Between Knossos and Valhalla there is a clear drop-off in the teams. That’s not to say that Valhalla isn’t capable of beating the teams ahead of them, because they absolutely are (I’m being super serial). With wins over Croatian and the Reivers, ranked just below them, I see this spot being solidified for the rest of the season, regardless.
8. Border Reivers
The Reivers absolutely jumped into the playoff mix with a bang. My alter-ego has been pretty hard on these guys, but they’ve slowly gotten better and put down the Flesh Eaters with authority last week. This isn’t team that’s going to jump many, if any, of the teams in front of them, but wins in Week 14 and 15 may be all that’s needed for a playoff appearance.
Still Fighting for a Playoff Spot!
9. Gamehendge Knights
Gamehendge faces Istanbul this week. The winner will likely still have a shot at the playoffs, while the losing team probably won’t. This is clearly a very big game, and everyone should watch it regardless of what else is going on around the league. Do it, people!
10. Istanbul Turks:
At 4-3, Istanbul has benefited from an easier schedule than some of the teams ranked around them, but they’ve also played some of the top teams in the league better than some of their competitors. All things put aside, as good as they’ve done as a lesser leveled team in this league, they need to win this week.
11. Croatian Flesh Eaters
I usually don’t move teams so drastically in one week. There’s usually a progression one way or the other. However, there are a large group of teams bunched together around this spot, and things had to be done. I really hope the Flesh Eaters aren’t mad at me. I still love you guys!
12. Montreal Ice
Time to get props (I love to do this!) to another really good running back on a struggling team. Broncos Next 1,000 Yard Back is averaging 11.4 yards per carry with 44 touchdowns. They’re going to need to get this guy the ball more in some of these games they should be competitive in.
I can’t wait to see these guy next season!
13. Lefkada Seahawks
Man, once those young defensive players fully mature, these guys are going to be a handful. They’re just biding their time until then. I fully support this strategy.
14. Glorious Nation Kazakhstan:
Come back! I miss you guys already.

THIS WAS LAME.
