It's all about builds and tactics. Tactics play the most important role, different tactics for each opponent. I even watch my opponents last game to get a feel for what tactics to use. Your chemistry is low, but not a sole factor. Hope this helps.

Not having terrible tactics is crucial, but as long as you avoid that, then builds are by far the most important thing.
In any case, it's interesting that the OP has two teams he's associated with and only one loss between them (plus no players).
