At what level should i start working on special abilities?

I tend to find a time at around level 42+ that I need to train my remaining skills higher before spending SP on them and the level gains have dropped to such a low level that the minor skills will not be hurt by investing in SAs. So for me it is sometime around level 42ish but every build is different. I have some builds that I waited until level 55 or higher.

Yeah Id say once you are basically done with your build. By that I mean youve hit 2-3 majors where you want them. Never try and use SAs as make ups for a shit build. IF your build is good enough youll never need them, so think that way. Good build first, SAs as a bonus to that good build.
