OK, I have seen different opinions on this, and have searched for a concrete answer from bort (and it doesn't help that forum search has been disabled today).

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the answer anywhere for some reason, so I will ask it again.

Does Playing on hard cause more interceptions? I know playing on hard gives a boost to stats but I have heard that it might have some negatives. If you have a link to bort's answer or something like that, that would be great. Although opinions aren't bad either.

Thanks in advance for any help

Playing on Hard will lead to interceptions if you don't have the stamina to keep it up for the whole game. Once your QB gets winded he will start making the worst decisions of his life and you'll see it on the box score.

There is no set amount of stamina where you can say "below X amount you will throw picks out like candy" but you can get an idea through trial and error.

It's a high-risk high-reward strategy, imo.

I've had fantastic games and horrible ones on all 3 options.

It's pretty much a grab-bag, you don't know what you'll get.

I play on a mostly running team had only 6 INTS in almost 400 attempts while completing 70% of my passes while playing on hard.

What's your Stamina though?

I had INT problems with a 60+ Throwing/40+ Vision while playing on hard but my Stamina was below 30. I've since raised my Stamina and yet I still seem to throw more accurately.. or at least with fewer INTs, on Normal or Relaxed.

Playing on hard adds a certain % to your attributes. It also takes more energy away, so unless you have a high stamina, it's not a good idea to play on hard. If you have low stamina and play on hard, your guy will get tired out faster and his production will get worse.

My stamina is 27 right now. Low for a level 19 QB. Tonight I was 19 OF 25 FOR 170 yrds and 1 TD. 76% completed. My receivers are all lvl 13 or less. Maybe since we run more it keeps them off balance.?

I have a question about hard & incompletes rather than hard and Interceptions. Does the same theory apply:

If you're trying to hard you get tired and get picked off more easily, then if you're trying too hard your passes are wayward and more likely to be incomplete?

My QB has had the same problems. I threw 3 INT's last game, and no TD's playing on hard. We still won somehow, but I'm level 12 and have very high vision and throwing, and still threw a buttload of picks. Maybe this is because my confidence was low? Once I throw a pick, i got down on myself and threw a few more? That could be a part of the problem
