Warrior General Games

KBH continues to stand atop the rankings this week, despite The Matrix 2 having an equal record with a stronger SoS and the top ranked offense and defense in the league.

WCC fell two spots to #4 despite utterly dominating the Chicago Oldstyles. Team MMA rose from #9 to #3, despite getting drubbed by KBH 91-3.

The Planeteers got bitten by the Vipers, but only fell from #4 to #6. After beating Syracuse 56-10, the Tinies fell in the rankings in all three of offense, defense, and overall.

Lordaeron hung tight at #5.

The big game in the west next week will be the Gashlycrumb Tinies against the West Coast Cutthroats. In the east, it'll be The Matrix 2 against Indianapolis.

This is my first ever stab at a ranking system. I've "altered" the rules such that "cpu" teams count only half (towards offensive ratings, defensive ratings, and strength of schedule). I also haven't formatted anything nicely or what not so here goes nothing. It looks like in the rating column I forgot to scale it back out by the number of total games played (in this case rating gets a times 4).

The offense/defense is actually calculated from all "regular" season games combined and not just the current weeks ranking (so they should have more meaning and value on the rating).

Your rankings do look a little more sensible than the regular script rankings, and of course I always welcome more rankings and more discussion.

But I've got to say--I know Delaware's defense is bad, but 33rd? In a league of 32?

Lol, Like I said it was my first stab. Turns out that because I forgot an "=" sign in the defensive checks, causing there to be no 1st place defense (only 3 3rd places) and all the defenses were 1 number higher then they should be. I've since fixed that and the SoS a bit more (to take into account the games that they played against CPU and alter the weighting of there schedules in addition to your own). I just didn't want to respam the boards for this week. After the matchup tomorrow we should see something better.
