Oh GTFO with that bullshit. You aren't exploiting jack shit if everyone's allowed to do it and everyone's BEEN allowed to do it for ages.

This talk of 'Ability X is overpowered, somebody needs to get rid of Exploit B.' is the worst thing about GLB, imo. 70% of the stuff people complain about isn't overpowered or exploitative in the least. It's just shit that works.

That being said. Why the hell do defensive players get bb%/Sa, and there isn't anything like that offensively.
Working as intended?

Yes, it's working as intended according to Bort.

I'm a little confused on some of this, particularly the refund tokens.

1) So, I get 25 chances to shop. If I find something I like after 5, I buy it and it says 5 more get deducted, so now I'm at 15. So if I use the other 15 and find something else I like, can I use it to buy a piece of AE for another slot? Or would it only be able to replace the item I bought a few shops ago?

Basically, can I use the 25 tokens to try to replace all my AE pieces with something better or only the % one?

2) Let's say I have a hold block shirt and I choose the 25 tokens. I find a +3 block, +1 protect, but it's cleats. Am I still going to have to pay the 4 BT to convert it to a shirt? You said full cash and BT refund but nothing about the slot. Is there a way to have refund token shopping only bring up items for the slot you are trying to replace?

3) Can I trade in only one piece of % EQ or all of them? Assuming it's all of them, do I get 25 tokens for each one I trade in or 25 total regardless of how many?

4) What about % AE attached to a SA? So if I have +5% break block, +1 tunnel vision, do I get +1 TV and say +1 first step?

5) What about double % pieces, like 5% break block, 5% force fumble? What is the trade in on that? Can I turn one into a +3 strength? Turn them in to 2 SAs? Not sure how that one will work...

"It's not overpowered because everyone is doing it" is full of all kinds of logical fallacies.

Its not exploitative, but it is very overpowered. Pretty crazy to think otherwise tbh.

OK, maybe I should clarify, we were all doing it because we knew it was way OP'd. The only ones whining realize that their dot isn't going to be anywhere near the caliber when this takes place.

+60% isn't overpowered. It works exactly how +60% should. All this is is people pissed off that someone else is beating them by doing it.

So who is paying for the switch? The team? They already upgraded it all the way up. Or is the switch allowing all the money to upgrade the piece you switched?

It costs over $3 million to upgrade a piece to level 64. Who is going to pay for that? Should be GLB.....they are forcing the change.

Look at what's happening with archetypes. They don't want there to be only one correct choice. %AEQ was the correct choice, by far. So, they nerf it making build variety more feasible.

#1 - you can buy as many pieces as you want. Like I said, one time deal, so enjoy/take advantage.

#2 - no BT refund for converting a piece to a different piece. You have 25 tokens, you can find a piece to fit the body part being equipped.

#3 - will be a limit of two pieces that you can swap. I'll edit the announcement to clarify that.

#4 and #5 - not positive on the answers to these so I'll get absolute clarification and edit the announcement when I find out.

Will we be able to see which piece is at 50% deduction. Obviously it should be our lowest % piece, but that should be for the user to decide. Also if we trade in a piece, that is 100% of its bonus, will the piece that is 50 immediately go to 100? I know bort sometimes makes mistakes on coding and this seems like one of those things that could get screwey

Choosing this option will also give you a full cash/bonus token refund.
