Based on the post I just made http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3769697 I have an question that I want to toss out...the new "bonus" SA - there's no restrictions on how to spend points in it? It works like Run Block/Pass Block/ Wrap Up Tackle/ Cover Up/ Trash Talk, as the first SA in a tree? Because that seems a bit overpowered for a few positions, such as:
SDC/SV on coverage LBs
Stiff Arm/LTS on rushing FBs
Get Low on blocking FBs
SDC on coverage SSs
TV on pass rush DTs etc.
All of those SAs are normally 3rd, 4th, 5th for their natural spots, but are great choices OOP and would be very, very cheap.

So far, the only restriction I have heard is that you can't choose something that's already in your tree, and Quick Cut/Change Direction count as the same (since they are the same but just with a different name). I'm sure they have (or will) discuss whether or not to allow SAs from the 5th spot in the tree though. Granted, what's 5th in one tree may not be in another (Absorb Pain 5th for Gs but 4th for OTs).

working as intended - we want it to be something easy for players to choose and use to add some versatility/difference to their build.

So we will have 6 in each tree now? or will we have to get rid of 2?

So even if a skill normally costs more than 1-2-3-4-5, you're actually reduce the cost for something that's chosen as a bonus? ie Spin or Shut down coverage?

Big fan, especially for LBs. Ive noticed more and more people skimping on SAs for LBs, so i think this will make them spend a few SPs in at least one SA now.

When you put it that way,

Sounds kinda awesome.

I've never liked the smallness of SAs roll in the game.
