thanks for doing this... but my hippos at #3 is way wrong lol... Maybe the script needs an update?

I was thinking the same thing about the script. Not because you guys were #3, because you guys proved me wrong, but because the def/off rankings are all screwed up.

Maybe the new Effective Level crap is screwing around with the way the rankings script works???

WEEK 2 Rankings - a lot of movement through the entire rankings this week with the Hippos shooting up to #1 even though their offense is ranked 16th. Obviously the O and D rankings are still all screwed up.

The Elephant rankings cleared up 2nd week, though I don't know how that happened, either...

IIRC I didn't factor in pre-season the 2nd week, b/c I don't think it makes a difference unless you do both conferences. I didn't include team's historical records or levels, either.

And I have no idea if that made a difference, lol.

Those are same settings I'm using. See if it clears up after a few games.

Couldn't get this script working on my laptop at home for week 3 so here the ranking after week 4 games.
Somali now has the top spot with the Hippos having dropped 3 spots to #4. The Bulldawgs and Cybertron moved up 4 spots each. Most of the movement has been in the top 8 while the bottom 8 didn't move much.

CWM can not wait for this weeks game. It should give us a healthy boost in these rankings.

Next week however will be a hell of a battle.

I think CWM will put the Hippos behind them with relative style.

Somali VS CWM has had some pizazz over the last couple of match ups. It looks like Somali will have the edge for the first game this season as they did some good work in plugging their holes and improving as a team. I do wish that these two teams would face off a little later in the season for selfish reasons.

I can see us pry playing in the playoffs buddy, i wouldnt be surprised at all.

Our schedule hasn't been the hardest yet, but it will get harder quick.

CWM and Nile coming up.

Then a hellish stretch with:

Nairobi
Fulham
and Alexandria

with Sterling shortly after

i dont expect us to be undefeated after that

CWM gets a huge test this week. Somali did not take the off season lightly. We beat those guys Both times last year, and TBH, I felt we could both times. They had some depth issues in all the wrong places to play against us. This season, upon initial review I feel they have the edge pretty easily. As of now, I have no clue on how to attack them. IMO, this game is going to be a very close CWM win, or a Somali blowout.

I think it is a bad situation for CWM. The team with the chip on its shoulder and revenge on their mind is also the team that is the better team.

I second this. If it's not obvious yet from my weekly picks, I think CWM is a great team but right now I think Somali is playing on it's own level until proven otherwise. I do believe that CWM does have a chance to beat them though at this point in the season Somali is clearly the favorite to wrap up the #1 seed.
