Welcome to the Season 14 version of World League Survivor. This year's winner will take home 5,000 flex donated by tautology.
Each week you pick the winner of one game. If your team wins, you survive. Sounds simple, right? There are a few twists.
-You may not pick any team more than once over the course of the season (includes playoffs).
-You may not pick AGAINST the same team more than once over the course of the season (resets at playoffs).
-If multiple players survive through the Championship game, they split the flex prize.
-If all remaining players are eliminated in the same week, the winner is the winner of the tiebreaker detailed below.
-You may change your pick anytime before the deadline, but you should make a new post to do so. If you edit an old post and I've already recorded it, I may not see your change.
-The deadline to make picks for a given week is 5:55 ET.
-You may submit picks for future weeks in advance.
-The contest is open to any poster on GLB. One entry per real life person, though.
-These rules are subject to change by the moderator.
Tiebreaker:
1. The player with the most teams found on both of their lists (picked to win, picked against). The losing week teams do not make the list.
2. If still tied, the team with the largest margin of victory in the last four wins.
3. If still tied, the team with the largest margin of victory over the course of the season.
4. If still tied, split the prize.
History of winners:
Season 12 - kanaan outlasted 80 participants, surviving through the 2nd round of the playoffs and winning on a tiebreaker. (note: playoff teams were reset this season)
Season 13 - cowtesticles2001 outlasted 102 participants, surviving through week 15.
