Hey, in the absence of other west predictions, here is a quick attempt at something to discuss:
New Brunswick n00bs vs. Carolina Bar Stars --- N00bs 34-3 ---FINAL N00bs 42-0
N00bs should get off to a good start this season with good matchups across the board against an outmatched Caolina roster.
Portland Hitmen vs. Spicewood Longhorns --- Spicewood 17-13 ---FINAL Portland 21-19
Should be one of the better opening day matchups. Can Spicewood defense stop the Portland offense? If not, could be big upset from above prediction
Oakland Wizards vs. Great Plains Reapers --- Great Plains 24-20 ---FINAL Great Plains 25-6
Should be another good game here, but Oakland could pull this one out with good game planning...
Hartford Hellhounds vs. Silverymoon Elves - Silverymoon 41-7 ---FINAL Silverymoon 51-7
This one should not be close as Silverymoon should continue their winning streak into season 3...
Waco Davidians vs. Dallas Red Raiders --- Waco 17-13 ---FINAL Waco 36-7
Waco gets an early season test to see if they have recovered from the shelacking from Bel Air in the conference finals...they should answer, but look for Dallas to give them a good game.
RGB Berzerk vs. Las Vegas Stunners --- Las Vegas 24-14 ---FINAL Las Vegas 51-9
RGB appears to have narrowed the gap a bit in players, but will pay the price for their chemistry hit. Stunners should have no problem stunning their opponent today.
Scottsdale Sun Demons vs. Grand Haven Mist --- Scottsdale 30-13 ---FINAL Scottsdale 16-7
Grand Have doesn't look to have the punch yet to keep up with Scottsdale. Could be closer than predicted if GH can do some good planning.
Miami Cyclones vs. Buffalo Rangers --- Buffalo 37-33 ---FINAL Buffalo 45-14
Has Miami improved this much? On paper they appear to have a shot here, but Buffalo has the history from last season to justify picking them in a close, shootout...offenses should dominate this game.

I have to agree agree. Spicewood and Portland looks to be one of the better matchups in week 1. Really looking forward to this one.

shoot..the Chem hit we took isn't from signing new players so much this season, it's a carry over from LAST season (hence, one of my biggest gripes about Chem in this game)...

still, should be a fun season.

Overall, I think your scores are pretty far off, but everything else looks okay.

I think LSU's scores are probably pretty close except I don't think Spicewood will be losing this game. I also don't see Dallas being held to 14 by Waco's D but thats why we play the games.

We could just start a pick 'em west thread. And then everyone could keeps track of their picking record.

Also, would the games freaking sim already. I'm tired of waiting!
