I'm afraid I have to disagree. While the league forum does indeed both suck and blow in equal measure, Zeta conference is shaping up to be a fascinating contest, with several closely-matched teams, unpredictable results and only two games currently separating 1st from 8th. Competitive football > witty banter in my book.

agreed. Very good competition here. Talking smak has its limits, gratification-wise. I prefer a good matchup on the field.

usually, and with few exceptions, if i see a avg lvl 50 team beat an avg lvl 59 team, i call it an upset. UK played very
well against a solid team that outlevels them. Yukon's only other loss was to a team thats one game out of first place in the Zeta conference. And well, i guess thats about all i have to say about that.

That is where the builds come into play. UK is a built from scratch cap build team, and we have had very little turnover in the roster. Lost 2 players, and added 7, but they were all built the same way. That gives us a nice advantage over a incumbent AA team that has to try to recruit to fill their roster, because they are most likely getting players that the higher levels don't want.
I am just glad we weren't put in the zeta conference, we would be fighting for a playoff spot, instead we will coast to with the 2 seed locked up in alpha.
