Log entry 02-08-2010: Sumatra in second place in the Alpha Conference of the World League. Good times. Lolpha. The tie-breaker for all teams 0-0 must be coolest logo. Damn Machu Picchu for having that AILF picture as their team logo. Today's opponent is last years champion Valhalla. Let's do some research, "Chosen by Odin, half of those that die in combat travel to Valhalla upon death, led by valkyries, while the other half go to the goddess Freyja's field Fólkvangr." Hmm..., sounds a lot like testergate. I wonder if Odin is considered an admin or just a full mod? "Valhalla is prominently referenced—with the line "Valhalla, I am coming"—in the Led Zeppelin hit single "Immigrant Song" (1970)." Ok, I am down with that. I will have to listen to that tune as we get man-handled by the champs.

Log entry 02-15-2010: Several people were making fun of Sumatra in this thread: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3772775&page=9 I tried to defend the team but it was hard to type with all the tears falling on my keyboard. Need to repeat our team mantra, 'I am rubber, you are glue.'

Log entry 02-16-2010: Being tied for 2nd did not last long. Firmly at the bottom of Alpha at 0-4. Will today be our first win? Playing the Korb Destroyers, their avatar is scary. David Stern picked against us in the survivor contest. Maybe I should warn him not to do that as we are going to break into the win column today? Nah, I would feel bad if we lose and I was wrong. Plus, letting him know that I worked hard on the game-plan would only re-affirm his choice.

coachviking released the top 16 rankings in the WL. We did not receive a vote. FML. Our punter received an endorsement today. That is sure to turn our season around.

Supplemental log entry, 2/16/10: So close to our first win. Old Wicked needs to be tied up and whipped. Sounds fun actually.

Log entry 02-17-2010: Slowly coming out of my deep depression. Had to watch 'www.shutupwomangetonmyhorse.com' an extra 100 verses than normal to get my smile back. 'Yes, sweet lemonade!' I had a chance to show the World League that Sumatra is srs bzns. Ah well. If we lose to Manila I might have to buy a rope. We are now 1-1 in scrims with lolOPL Pro, good times, we might have been able to reclaim our spot as the #7 zeta playoff seed if we were back there. I miss those knuckle heads. Taut thinks I made a clever "Old Wicked" reference, he fails to realize that I stumbled into that. Old Wicked is just the name of our backup QB who threw three picks. I could have really used those bonus points too.
