Anybody care to make any predictions about who's going to win each conference/be in the playoffs? I haven't really looked at the East much, but I'd say the top 3 in the west right now (in no particular order) are
Kiel Baltic Hurricanes
Gashlycrumb Tinies
MSDSM (seriously, is anyone ever going to type out that name?)

In the West, these teams look to be competitive:
Shang Hai & NT TDL--18 overall, lost to a 15 overall team 72-21
Hollywood HighRollers--18 overall, beat a 0 overall CPU team by 63-0
Indianapolis Mustangs--18 overall, beta a 0 overall team 42-19
The Matrix 2--18 Overall, beat a 0 overall team by 58-0
Sioux City Shockers--Did not set their roster for their game; lost to an 18 overall team 35-31
Lordaeron Legends--21 overall; beat an 18 overall team 119-0

Hard to base much off preseason, but these are the teams with the fullest rosters...and thus the best chance.

Nice to see you again Gongadan. Especially since I like your tweaked out version of the ranking script much better. Even if it did always have Rage better then SAS when it was clearly not the case

As for your predictions, I wouldn't take MSDSM (a.k.a sea monkeys) or Hurricanes seriously right now. Maybe later but as they are right now not really.

Tinies I have more confidence in being able to go places including a deep playoff run. Burned through a ton of cash already though to get all that talent but I suppose it is worth it if you win the playoffs.

I'd notch up the top 5 teams of the West as being (in order)
Syracuse Vikings
Gashlycrumb Tinies
Buffalo Planeteers
West Coast Cutthroats
Mini San Dimas Sea Monkeys

And I suspect that those 5 will still be it at the halfway point of the season as well.

Yeah, I was basing my guesses on the number of player positions filled and CE worn as of yesterday or the day before. I see now that the Vikings have filled out their roster a little more, so they could be contenders later on.

The Planeteers will probably win a number of games and make the playoffs, but they still lack depth, except at the QB spot (where they inexplicably have 3 fully boosted CE QBs).

I hadn't realized you were involved with WCC; the Firebirds were rock solid last season, so I'm going to upgrade my opinion of WCC to definitely top 4 in the west, probably top 2.

As far as the cash goes, I've been unloading as many bonuses as I can on the guys that are keeping their players next season. The pee wee teams can't do anything with it anyway, and after the season starts I will have only 1-3 players that will be eligible for contract renegotiations.

i believe that the kiel baltic hurricanes are the best team in the league although a few of their players have boosted already which gives them a big advantage, other than that i believe it is a wide open league and many things could happen once the playoffs roll around. GO SYRACUSE VIKINGS lol

Screw World Peace I Want A Pony is facing WCC, SV, GT and MSDSM. That's 4 of the top 6 teams in the west. Don't worry, pony lovers, the season won't be as bad as the preseason!

i know i saw that, i actually kind of felt bad beating them today because of how hard their preseason schedule is
