Before I get into this.. check out the new team name!


I submitted a 2nd support ticket to get the heck OUT!

The tech agreed to move me out if I could find a Silver team to agree to swap with... his words were, "as long as they were moderately succcessful in Silver"

I replied back, I didn't think this was fair , for ME to find a team to swap with.

His response.. well ... you should stay so we don't get other Silver teams mad...

I replied back - with no response yet... ticket is closed so I doubt I'll get one.. see my reply below...

"I understand, it's tough to make everyone happy. The bad thing is, the Gold community is really unhappy with having non-competitive teams in their league to start the season. I think it goes back to what we assumed the original vision of the Gold League, "The best Pee Wee teams play in Gold" It's the 1 league in Pee Wee that needs to be handled with extra care because alot of Copper/Silver teams pay close attention to Gold. The more competitive Gold is, the more flex you will get out of it as well. My team last season probably totaled 55,000ish Flex. .... an uber competitive Gold league with 32 really good teams makes the most sense..... means boosting and custom EQ are the standard. And I'm pretty sure that's what Gold teams want.. and that's what Copper/Silver teams are striving for ( the competitive ones, of course )

I would go CPU today, but I need to organize my AI so I can import it to another team. I don't want to lose it since I'll spent SO much time on the defense and tagging. If I can't move out of Gold, I'll probably go CPU as soon as I can... If I can move down, then I'll hold on to them and use my AI for reference for the teams I'm helping this season.

In the past, you guys promoted Silver champions first.... and runner-ups for any other spots. I can give you a list of teams I know are Gold ready.. but if you don't want to make Silver teams mad, you do it the same way as the past. If you don't have enough teams to fill the 5.. the best non-runner up teams were Maine Grenadiers and Final Thought."

While I think Maine Grenadiers and Final Thought are two very good choices, if you don't want to play favorites, use the tourneys as a guide and see if any Silver teams won any of them or see if any Silver team did really well in one or multiple tourneys. If self demoting Gold teams use the tourneys to determine who they trade with, I think that would push more Silver teams into the tourneys.

Yeah I agree.. Tourneys are good measuring sticks...

whatever method they use now ... is what they should use to replace us. I just assumed the runner-ups of Silver league championship games were the ones who got first dibs...

I just mentioned Final Thought and Maine ... I wasn't sure if there were 5 runner ups left .. I think a few teams that either won or came in 2nd are CPU now.

I also told him in one of the replies.. since I've joined Tombstone, this wasn't in my best interest to replace my team.. It will be easier to win our conference with these non-compettive teams... you replace my team with Final Thought, HHM with Who Touched my Pee Wee.. and the Western conference will be even scarier...

Something else to consider is which high end Silver teams have just missed going Gold for a couple of seasons. I would promote those over 1st year Silver teams who did well. I think a team that has been at or near the top of the Silver league for several seasons deserves the nod over those who only have been there for one.

Pee-Wee Silver Tourney:
Who touched my peewee lost(badly) in the championship game.

PeeWee Mid-Major Tourney:
Maine Grenadiers won this tourney.
Who touched my peewee lost(badly) in the championship game.

Halo's Seasonal Pee Wee Tourney:
No potential teams were in the championship game.



Silver Teams that have been high end Silver for more than 1 season...
Final Thought(only league losses were to 85'Bears)
Crib Midgets(had an off season in S13)
Those are the only two I know of since I was in S7 with them, other suggestions?

I agree, but it needs to be done.

I'd like to see Final Thought in Gold.. Western Conference..

I wish we had an exclusive PeeWee Admin/ Mod that cared to identify some of the trivial (easy) fixes to have it run more smoothly.

No knock on Darkus, I know he does what he can with what he is given.

Sr. Admin for each League would be beneficial to all of GLB>

Side Note:
Wam is trying to field a Team. Front Office is doing the best they can with what they have and the time that they were given (from when demotion was denied) Not real sure how the AI's will be ran, but at the very least other Gold Teams will not have to play against 100% CPU Team. How competitive the Team will be with having late builds and not all boosters and CEQ. is yet to be seen. ( I personally have taken a step back for a season or maybe 2 from the outside looking in to get some RL challenges resolved) Best of Luck Gold S14 Teams. Maybe I can get back before the season is over and try to put together some game plans with guys.

I guess it is a matter of knowing if 4-6 wins can keep a team in Gold @ this point as it has occasionally in the past.

(No stab @ the Crabs I know Mc has went above and beyond just to have his team rightfully demoted)

Sorry guys, along with the Crabs we did the best we could. Unfortunately our requests were not taken seriously enough.
(Did they really think we wanted to drop out of Gold to Copper or Silver to earn a trophy? Couldn't we have done that by just letting the whole Team go CPU and getting a new Team name Version 2.0 ?

Not sure what there thinking was. We just wanted to keep the team so we could go back and watch some Old Games occasionally and see how the Team progresses when it fires back full strength again.

I think the Goat Warriors were interested. Maine is an excellent choice.

Final Thought might be interested, but we'd want to be in the East for obvious reasons.

I was just about to mention that Ping, 3 teams in the West all with nearly the same coaching staff, not a good idea.

Yeah, I do 100% for both FT & the Pigs. I only do the DAI for Nawlins.

Wow, you will have your hands full this season. No wonder you didn't enter FT in many tourneys last season.

Import crabs DAI over to the DI. It makes sense, all you need to do is remove the A.
