Als don't get touched

Two team have a scrimmage set for after the Champ game

To me it seems like the same result most of the time with a bigger or smaller score.

Usually the better team wins.

If the purpose is to see how random the RNG is, why does it have to be the WL championship game?

Seems like it would lead to room for a lot of bitching if the results are different. Who's to say who got lucky which time? It would lead to kind of an asterisk on the trophy for whoever won it. And if the results are the same, then nobody will really care about the scrimmage.

Small AI adjustments would be impossible to prove and impossible to prevent, which could lead to controversy.

Also, if Valhalla did it this season, we would have to forfeit the final of the real thing tourney (assuming we win today).

After reading all of this it probably seems like I'm completely opposed to the idea, but tbh I kinda like it. I'll think about it...

oh lol don't forfeit anything

as for an asterisk no way would there be one for the team that won the real trophy.

I do get your point when you say a minor adjustment could happen and no one would know the difference.

The only reason I say WL championship game is because those are the two teams at the pinnacle of their respected divisions in the WL, the GP's will be as close to flawless as the GM's can get them.

TBH though the Val/Choc game basically showed people even with the randomness it comes down to a few calls here and there that win the game when the teams are closely matched.

I think it is a pretty bad idea to be honest and I will use two games Alpine played back to back against the Chicago Hedgehogs last season as an example. The first game was played on the last scrim slot one day and the next on the first the following day. All that was changed was some slight moves of percentages:

Game 1 - L 20-46
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=882476

Game 2 - W 49-21
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=882665

That is a 54 point swing.

I am not talking about touching anything, but like alloy said you can't trust people to leave it alone.

that's why you do it between two teams that you know well and have access to the AI for. And you run about 5 scrimmages in a row on 5 consecutive days (slight changes because of training/VA/SP add ons, but will still be pretty damn close). come back with results. Even 5 is a pretty low number for a real experiment.

Ya, this isn't going to happen.

TBH the only reason I wanted to do this is because I think we are favorites and the more chances we get to prove that the better

I disagree with the point you are trying to make here.

Actually Valhalla dominated that game, but Bort's nonsense coding of turnovers made the outcome a closer one than it should have been.

I have not watched it I just knew of that circumstance since I read about it.

I saw all the TO's in the box score and then heard everyone talking about that play.

If I could have brought it up yesterday we could have just had them back to back that way everything would have been =

Good luck Val scares the shit out of me and is the 1 team no one wants to face.

As far as actual number of turnovers goes, we probably got luckier than they did. If they did get luckier I think it was more for normal football reasons like the timing of our turnovers and having most of our good offense come on our own half.

Edited to avoid starting a stupid arguement.

Val is very good and definitely the favorite, but I was more scared of Blaze
