I had a guy tell me last season that OPL had no real competition or players and he wanted to test his guy in a better league.

Heh... I've been an Oceania guy my whole competetive GLB career... I experienced the frustrating recruiter side for several seasons.

So when my slow built FS was up for free agency last season, I disregarded the mass of PM's he got from everywhere but OPL.

I like our little oceania island. Gives us the best agents because they are willing to go deeper then what the mass amount of people on the forum say.

Ya, agreed. Since season 1 there has been this ridiculous bias towards USA, then CPL and SA.
It makes absolutely 0 sense.

Hence, the best agents and owners IMO are here, and in EE and WE.

I've always prefered the Oceania atmosphere personally. All the leagues have their ups and downs and I do think we are on the upswing.

I think it makes sense, from the perspective that the most dominant teams have come from those leagues. But obviously that doesn't transfer to the overall strength of the league.

For awhile, Oceania was one of the best leagues around. Maybe I'm a bit partial, but during the heydey of the Zeta grinder, we were a great quality league with some of the best competition around from top to bottom. We may not have had teams that wrecked people outside of the league, but we always stayed in games. Not to mention, people that wanted to see how their dots performed against good competition got that in OPL, since you rarely had a meaningless game.

So maybe I'm a bit partial, but yeah. Seasons 3 through 9ish were the pinnacle of O-Pro Zeta, IMO. And it is feeling like the entirety of O-Pro is getting to that level again.

Having been in OPL as an owner from S1-S6 I agree with this. It was hell during the regular season and we were always knocking each other out of playoff seeds.

I guess all I know is that in the real dynasties of GLB, imo, are the Evil Monkeys, the Benitos, and Gart's constantly name-changing team.

USA, SA, and CPL

Doesn't really say anything about the overall quality of the league, imo, just of the top teams in the game.

I don't think you can leave West Scranton out of that company, tbh
