thanks to ocho, i got to watch both games without knowing the score. they were truly great games. the defense for all four teams was great. it was simply a matter of who made more plays. aside from Fat Danny's obvious screw up in the code and the storm kicking the FG down by 14 late, the game plans were very well done.
it was strength on strength. our goal was to make someone other than garrison hooper beat us. dirty mcgrunge almost did. his clutch catches almost gave them the win.
SSM's TE Gonzalez was the xfactor the storm could not stop late in the game. his clutch 3rd down TD and other third down catches doomed the storm when they needed a stop.
games like that were epic. i could not believe how fast both games seemed. it was halftime before i knew it in both game.
