At this level most people have gear in the right places, good dots at the skill positions.

Could it be which teams hit on the VA's this season?

Uniformity of VA's on the team?

SA's?

EQ?

All of the above?

maybe it comes down to X factor, or perfect height and weight?

playing in CPL

Seriously? Might as well ask "how to be good at GLB?" a question I'm pretty sure you know the answer to.

There are a ton of factors of course. But I think the biggest one (separating the top from the bottom at least) is build efficiency. It doesn't matter how good you are at the rest of the game if you have a 5-15 point disadvantage in major attributes.

I think that and having the right VA's or at least the major ones has a large part in it.

It is a combination of things from base builds, VAs, AEQ, game planning, height/weight, quality of depth, equipment and x-factor.

There are only a handful of great OCs/DCs left and then a bunch of mediocracy. The top WL teams have the better ones obviously.

Team facility

if you have CT on your team you have x factor...

Build efficiency, team composition (match ups) and tactics.
