Good luck to all teams who made playoffs and good luck to teams who didn't, make them next year.

Any predictions on how this seasons finish will pan out?

It'll be the Raging Bulls and Falcons in the zeta conference championship game. It can go either way.... a close game like the last time. In the alpha, the Force and the Chaos with the Force winning a close one.

Ditto. We got lucky against them in the regular season.

I'm pretty pumped for all the games. This is the best all around group I have seen in the playoffs for a long time now.

Good luck to everyone and may the bort be with you.

Yeah I'm glad that there isn't an individual standout team...this is still anybodies year.

This has been the most competitive league my team has been in since the beginning. There's 6 or 7 teams who could make a run and win it all in the league.

all kidding and game planning aside just compare the two box scores from reg season game and the playoff game and tell me you honestly don't suspect Bort buffs playoff underdogs.

i'll give you just one example:

regular season game player on their team: G Slardar The Slithereen Guard had 3 pancakes.

in their amazing playoff win the same player had 23 pancakes.

now please note these are the same basic rosters that met each other in the regular season game with the same basic matchups build wise.

there are a lot of similar discrepencies in the box scores

trust me i am not a sore loser and i give props to people who beat my team but our dots didn't play at all close to their capability from the first snap of the game to the last. it was as if there was an out of position penalty imposed on all of them the whole time. We missed a ton more tackles then we normally do, couldn't break blocks, couldn't catch, run etc.. couldn't do anything well. Like i said we looked like we were level 20's vs level 60's it was so bad our Dot play.

I don't mind losing but i would like to feel that my Dots played to their capability through the whole game and no outside factor had anything to do with it.

A similar thing happened to another top team i have a player on we completely own everyone all season long then get to playoffs and we majorly underperformed (i am talking about dot play not game planning) and we got smoked like 60 to 3?

I'm not one to start conspiracy theories but i could see why Bort would like to bump underdogs up a notch to keep them playing GLB and spending flex if they feel they have a fighting chance in the playoffs and anything goes.

Anyways thats it hope i don't sound like an ass or sore loser because i'm neither lol.

ok so they saved up VA points all season and lost regular season games because of it so they could deck out their team with playoff type VA's?

I could see that as a possibility but i wouldn't bank on it not to mention something like that is hard to organize and get everyone to do it. (well unless you run the team with 2 agents lol)

still if +2 confidence VA is what it takes to win in playoffs i guess i should start 5th capping confidence.

I mean i would like to hear from them what they did special if anything i know they game planned well and that gave them an edge but still doesn't explain how bad the dots played i mean a tackle is a tackle or at least it should be game planning aside it shouldn't affect a 1 on 1 tackle performance wise?

I almost responded to this post last night as it almost sounds like you were overlooking us but figured i'd feel pretty stupid if I did and we lost.

GG Force, going into the 4th quarter I felt pretty confident I knew the only way you could make it close was turnovers... and what do you know, the next two possesions we lost fumbles and i got a bit worried.

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't necessarily say we tanked the regular season but I'll admit we didn't gameplan for any regular season game, used the same tactics and ai..etc We made some changes to the AI's mid season (I believe the first game with the new changes was the regular season game against the Force) but that's about all; we were focused on our Pro team.

Heart of a Champion was not the case, we spent the last 2-3 days re-working our AEQ but since we're still in the playoffs I won't elaborate on that . I wish we had more cash though as our equipment isn't fully upgraded .

With all that being said, are the remaining teams scared yet?

Well whatever you did it made my team play like crap lol at first i thought it was morale/stamina issue but i checked and that wasn't the problem i just can't explain why my dots played as if they were tired and demoralized for most of the game since the beginning of the game we been down in score early before and it never affected the team that bad we just fought back and win by the end of the game like i said watching this was like watching the ravens vs the patriots in the last playoff game talk about totally tanking.
