Lots of interesting match-ups, in order of interest to me:

1a.Montpelier vs Crib Midgets - This should be a good, close game. I think Crib would have taken them earlier in the season, but now it's a slugfest. To show you how crazy deep silver7 west is, this match may determine the difference between the 4 & 5 seeded teams, and the loser may be as low as 6th...wow.
Prediction: Crib 10-7

1b.Vancouver vs SBI - Two very good teams who weren't given enough credit at the beginning of the year. Vancouver has knocked off Crib & Montpelier in back to back weeks and are hoping to cruise to the 3rd seed in the playoffs. SBI also has 2 losses to the same 2 teams (FT & Bears), but have yet to play Crib & Montpelier. This is tough, b/c Vancouver has already proven themselves, yet SBI actually played FT & Bears closer than Vancouver did, meaning this should be a good test for them to see if they're worthy of the 3rd seed or the 6th (or somewhere in between). Both teams still have an outside shot to be as high as a 2-seed.
Prediction Tie 7-7

2. Eugene vs Hartford - A couple of top teams in the east playing each other. Eugene is their typical above average self, and a good opponent for anybody. Hartford appears to have some new coaching in shape, but they're tough to gauge for two reasons: 1) they haven't played anybody; 2) they used a loophole to put some day 31 builds on their team (this has helped them, but those players will all be gone on day 31 of this year, pretty much screwing their playoff chances).
Prediction Even with the bogus roster, Eugene wins 28-0.

3. Michigan vs Texas - Texas is like they were last year: decent talent, poor coaching. Michigan is your typical middle-of-the road team that hasn't quite turned the corner to take things to the next level. My bet is on Michigan ending up the 7 seed.
Prediction - Michigan 49-0.

4. Nakhoda vs Bears - Mostly listed, b/c it is possible this game will be replayed in the first round of the playoffs in the 2vs7 game. Nakhoda looks in good shape to have the 7 seed locked up, but when looking at their schedule it is more likely they finish in a tie for 8th at 7-9. The Bears could still tie for first, or fall to 4th.
Prediction: Bears 90-0

Other games of note:
Rhode Island vs Ninjas - 2 teams fighting to improve playoff chances
Crackertown vs Twintowns - see above

We lost to the Cats and now face FT. I am not looking forward to doing the season ending write up because Crib Midgets are dropping fast...

You were close on #3, Michigan over Texas 66-14 and #4, Bears over Nakhoda 126-0.

But you were off on #1a, Montpelier over Crib 13-0, #1b Vancouver over SBI 45-7, and #2 Hartford over Eugene 3-0.

Some surprising outcomes there, will make for an interesting shuffle in post-season seeding.

Well unlike early season predictions, FT is kinda out on a podium all by themselves. I thought CM would be right up there with them this season, but now with two loses, it looks like they are out of it for the top spot. the next game will be telling tho, between FT and CM. its looking to me like FT is gonna win without too much trouble (sorry crib).

on another note, the bears look like they have pretty much secured the second seed, but 3-5 are still up for grabs btw vancouver, montpelier, and crib. i also believe that any one of those top 5 teams in the west (possibly 6, if you include SBI) could easily beat, possibly destroy any team in the east with the exception deep throw it. they have looked very good, although they have had an extemely easy schedule. the playoffs this season will be very interesting.

Don't underestimate D-Tit. While they might not have been tested within our league yet, they have played a number of scrimmages against good teams and are currently 1-1-1 against Gold teams, which is a pretty good record for a Silver team against Gold. For other examples, FT is 1-2 against Gold and my Bears team is 3-2 against Gold. What I am saying is any team that can compete against Gold needs to be respected.

On a different topic, how would the seeding work if my Bears team pulled off the upset against FT, pending we both win all our other games? That would put him at 15-1 and me at 14-0-2.

Every team has at least one bad game a season. I have a couple tourney losses that are not sitting well either.

I think with that record, we'd technically be tied for 1st and the tiebreaker would be points scored.

To stress your point, 2 of the final 4 teams in the Silver Tourney are from the West Conference, my Bears and the Wildcats. How awesome would that be if we both made the finals!

If everything goes right you'll be playing the Pig's. Then there will be 2 from league #1 in the Final Four.

Either way good luck to you both.
