Problem is, finding Guards with 100 Speed and 80 Agility.

Specifically ones that have enough Vision Strength and Blocking to find the right guy to block and successfully hold him in his tracks. I say, we need Holding sliding bars, allowing our players to adjust their bar.

The further towards Holding you go the more of a % to get a penalty called.

I don't think 100 speed is even close to needed. My guard in the replay I posted only had 69 speed with 79 natural agility, and he appeared to have no trouble getting out there (with no first step SA yet either). What I posted seems to be working, but I would like to see it ran maybe 20-30 times in a game to really see how it fares (and how tired my guard gets) against another "real" team. Not against super dots, but against varying agent built dots.

Here is an horrible example from a recent test game:

This is a pitch left. No real reason for the OG to double team the RDE, he should try to get to the outside and should not block toward the left side of the field before he is past the LOS

That guard (Team 1 RG1) does not even have the Pulling Lineman VA, so maybe that is why it failed.

He failed the logic of the play not the speed needed to get to the outside. The OG should not block the DE unless
1) The DE get penetrations and the OG meet him while he moves to the outsdie
2) The LT goes for an inside block and the DE become the guard main target (like a trap with a bad angle.)

Unless he made a vision check to realize he couldn't help and decided to hit the guy he could? IDK

But if that were the case and he pulled anyway...the HB could decide to cut in and use the block...again IDK

Why would you do that?

Right now, offensive linemen are cranking shitloads of points into strength and blocking. They might train up speed and agility, but it is no where near the top two, neither is vision.

You have created another stats race on the offensive and defensive lines with strength being the big key now. Instead of giving people patches to put on their builds, allow their builds to mean good things.

A Guard/Tackle with good vision, speed and agility surely should rock on screen plays right?

A Center with a high agility and vision might be not only able to see the Middle linebacker he needs to take out on an off tackle play, but should be able to get there depending on the MLB's speed/agility.

Get the very basics right, then add stuff on, or you'll never have a chance getting it working cleanly.
