How important is Vision in regards to pass blocking?

It seems to help raise the pass blocking scouting bar but so does speed. Other than that I am not sure.

That's why I was asking. I had one of my Guards Pass Defense Bars jump 2 points when I trained Vision over 25.

It is a valid question.
At the moment blocking is very weird. It seems as if blockers are moved about via predetermined routes at the beginning of most plays. Once this has finished and there is somebody to block the skills seem to come into play.
I do recall that when my OT got 61 in vision his pass blocking improved in the sims. The problem is that that was a couple seasons ago and blocking was very different. Generally I plan to have 60ish vision for all my O linemen but it is not my highest priority.

ya
I honestly have no idea either.. I do not think VIS compensates for the wackiness of the OL/DL interaction, nor will it help a particular OLineman 'choose' who next to block. That seems predetermined by the AI.
All i can see is that VIS indirectly gives a boost to speed, much like it does for defenders and other players
There has been talk about making OL pass vision checks when determining who to block.. picking up blitzers..etc but afaik that has yet to be implemented
