Sell the pass block and foundation, get more shopping tokens, and get a second protector piece. Don't waste a team's money on anything else.

While I think Foundation is potentially good, it'd be more useful for a ROT who doesn't have the benefit of Protector.

So yeah, what MrMoose said.

Alternatively +Blocking or Agility with Hold Block % would probably be the "ideal" choice out of all potential equipment if you'r going to be shopping again anyway imo.

no, never have 2 of the same SA aeq if you have the SA in your ability tree, unless you plan on taking the SA to 14.

Pass Block would be good

get Pass Block and Protector to 10 and the Pass Blocking VA and with solid attributes (nothing overly special) your LT will be tough to get by

put all equipment in strength since blocking, agility and speed will get tons of bonuses from the SA's and VA's - you can also add in Great Blocker to get the blocking up even more

Having 2 pieces with the same SA works out well if it is the last SA on the SA tree.

Also just because there is an unspecified "diminishing returns" on SAs past 10 doesn't mean they're not worth taking past 10.

It may well be that 20 Protector or something would be zomgawesome

If you plan on getting more than 1 SA to 10, this is still not mathematically true.

using an OT (protector = best, foundation = second)
5 points in foundation = 15sp
5 points in Protector = +18sp for a total of 33sp

10 points in foundation = 43sp

*edit - this isn't even taking into account the worth of bonus tokens in relation to points spent on SA's, which octowned has taken into great detail somewhere in the O-line forums
