ALPHA:

#1 Wroclaw Wolverines (4-0) - These guys have come out of the gates firing! Who woulda thought! Can you say Alpha "Dark Horse"??? We shall see if they are for real, as they have a very tough upcoming 2nd quarter schedule.
PREVIOUS RANK: #6

#2 Old School (4-0) - These guys still have a lot to prove in my opinion. They've had an extremely soft 1st Quarter Schedule, so we shall see how good they truly are this next Quarter. Put on the Bengay fellas, as your old asses finally got some gameplanning to do!
PREVIOUS RANK: #3

#3 Transylvania Impalers (3-1) - A small upset in Week 3, the Impalers drop a couple spots. A Very tough game against the Huskies is tomm, but in a close one the Impalers win. And still keep their hopes alive for the Top Alpha seed. They also have a soft 2nd Quarter schedule so they should be moving up!
PREVIOUS RANK: #1

#4 Yukon Huskies (4-0) - They have won the games they were supposed to, including a pair a CPU games. No offense, but thats gonna hurt your SOS. Not to mention a closer than anticpated win over the Boracs. Still a lot to prove if they want to climb into the ring with the Heavyweights.
PREVIOUS RANK: #5

#5 Yorkshire Warriors (3-1) - Moving you guys down for now, due to SOS, but I really believe you will be moving up. Knock off the Wolverines and you'll be flying ahead to the top. These guys are straight ballers, and very quiet no wait Silent Knights! Beware of the Warriors.
PREVIOUS RANK: #4

#6 Mukachevo Coyotes (3-1) - Still looking very tough and could very easily crack into the Elite class next rankings report. Dont count out the Coyotes, cause thats one desert you dont want to go strolling thorugh alone at night. Have a shot to knock off the Old Timers and really establish themselves.
PREVIOUS RANK: #8

#7 Alert Sentinels (3-1) - Have yet to have that "Blowout" win to really say hey look at us. Alot of ugly wins, but hey at this level any win is good. These guys have a somewhat difficult 2nd quarter schedule where im imagining them to go 2-2, so sorry fellas looks like you'll be hanging around this same neighborhood again next report.
PREVIOUS RANK: #7

#8 The Hague Hustlers (2-2) - Welcome back Sharpie. You guys have displayed some toughness. Key word on some! But im definately now thinking the Playoffs are in your future. You gotta learn to walk before you can run, so take this as a compliment. Baby steps, but keep up the good work, as I do see you pulling an impending upset sometime soon. Perhaps week 8???
PREVIOUS RANK: #9

***ON THE BUBBLE***

#9 Pacific Predators (2-2) - How quickly have these mammals fallen. Its almost as fast as when the dinosaurs vanished. A once highly though of Playoff calibur team of mine, has COMPLETELY fallen out of the Playoff picture. I love your EE pride, but you gotta win In-House games as well. Got a character testing 2nd quarter schedule, so maybe you could restore some vote of confidence in me, but if you come out out of there with a 1-3 record, im calling it now, your team will end up on the list below this one, and thats where NO TEAM wants to be mentioned.
PREVIOUS RANK: #2

#10 Port City Mosquitos (1-3) - Could still manage to squeeze into the #8 slot, but the losses are piling up quickly. Must act quickly or the West Nile virus is sure to set in. Only this time instead of injecting the virus into your prey, you'll do so to yourselves.
PREVIOUS RANK: #10

ZETA:

#1 Athens Gods (4-0) - With the unexpected loss of the Thundercats, the Gods musta thought Xmas came early. Still not out of the woods to a lock on the #1 seed yet, but an all imprtant game against the Blaze is next for the Gods. Gonna be a very tight game but the Gods win by 10! That near slipup against the team from the other side of Athens will truly inspire the Gods to knock off the Blaze. Have a fairly difficult 2nd quarter, but still expected to go 4-0!
PREVIOUS RANK: #2

#2 Belgrade Blaze (4-0) - Have had a pair of wins over CPU teams, but managed a nice shutout of the Slush Puppies! A HUGE game against the Gods is up next, and what a sweet Xmas gift that would be to walk out of Athens with a win. Rankings could be all jacked up next quarter if they managed to pull out that "W" We shall see soon how good they are as 3 of their next 5 games are against teams ranked #5 or higher. Yikes! Could the Blaze be stomped out, or will it grow even bigger???
PREVIOUS RANK: #3

#3 Glass City Fightn' Thundercats (3-1) - Wow, can you say upset loss of the century??? I stole that from somebody. A major slipup now has the Cats walking on glass literally, as 1 more loss and their hopes of the #1 seed will be smashed. Have an average 2nd quarter schedule so the Cats should be moving up next report. But for once a team has manged to catch a cat by it tail. And that shit hurts! Still looking stronger than ever in Out-of-League play though!
PREVIOUS RANK: #1

#4 Barcelona Bandits (3-1) - Managed to knock off EE Powerhouse the Thundercats. That win though will be like Barry Bonds if he makes it to the hall of fame! There will be an asterisk next to it, and yall know what I mean. But anyways grab a "spoon" and get digging as the season is long and trecherous. They have a softer than average 2nd quarter schedule, but im smelling a Week 8 upset! Maybe you could contact Roger Clemens next for Week 8, I hear he uses some pretty good stuff as well!
PREVIOUS RANK: #4

#5 Black Sea Storm (4-0) - Not too shabby for a bunch of slow-built players at this level, they said they coulda hang, but I knew otherwise. I've been following these guys for a while now and when I say a team is good, well they are. Nice but all "ugly" wins so far this season. But hey they arent the TCats where their motto is "It's not worth winning unless you cant win BIG" (stole that from the Mighty Ducks movie) Keep up the great work over their XC and Panda!
PREVIOUS RANK: #7

#6 Istanbul Anatolian Guard Dawgs (2-2) - An upsetting loss to the Slush Puppies, but these guys are still very solid. Have a favorable schedule upcoming next quarter. I forsee them going 3-1, thus keeping them right in the middle of the Playoff pack. Dont let that Bark overshadow your bite, Dawgs! Let those fangs hang out!
PREVIOUS RANK: #5

#7 Athens Hoplites (2-2) - Almost pulled off another upset of the century in the same week the Bandits did*** Have shown they can play tough as nails. but they will need some more of that Mojo next Quarter as they get BOTH the Bandits and TCats! After this next Quarter its pretty smooth sailings the rest of the way.
PREVIOUS RANK: #6

#8 Lush Puppies(1-3) - Right where they were projected to be! A very very tough 1st Quarter schedule, and now they get rewarded with the softest schedule in Zeta for the 2nd Quarter. If they dont go 4-0 during that stretch then, those Slushies will truly be defrosted. Keep the faith Slushies as I forsee yall 5-3 and moving up when the next report comes out!
PREVIOUS RANK: #8

***ON THE BUBBLE***

#9 Transylvania Bloodsuckers (2-2) - Managed to knock off the "other" Athens team, which has been their really only bright spot so far this season. They get a shot this next quarter at teams all in the bottom 2nd tier and lower so they should come out with a 2-2 record thus haning onto Playoff consideration. If they come out with a 1-3 record then all their blood will be nearly sucked dry along with their Playoff hopes.
PREVIOUS RANK: #10

How do you beat Glass City and still be ranked behind them when they were expected to be a 16-0 top team....

Blaze have been tough both in conference and in tourneys this year. A big difference from our early showings of a season ago. Looking forward to this 2nd qtr as you said......it will be a challenge but lay the foundation of our playoff seeding.

He thinks he is going to win it all every single season, you'll get used to it soon.

We have a game with Pacific tomorrow. Hoping for a good turnout. If all went well we would be 3-1 and in great control of our schedule but with only having played 1 cupcake so far, we are sitting in good position

2nd quarter predictions for

The Hague: 3-1

Im hoping for a win over pacific to give us that tie breaker as that is what i expect to be for the final seeding and we have 2 cupcakes then we have the impalers

Right on the head for the Boracs. We aren't old enough to be competitive here yet. Give us a season or 2...

Agreed. Preds are top 6 material at worst. We game-planned more for our game against them than any game in the regular season I care to remember.
