I hope CV doesn't mind, I was bored and decided to throw this together...
MPHD (1) vs Belfast (13) - MPHD has been playing like the best team in the game and Belfast will not be able to test them. MPHD's WR crew is still somewhat of a question mark, but their running game has looked unstoppable with a defense almost to match.
MPHD win 66-13
TKW (2) vs Golfers (8) - This season TKW might have the best GLB defense ever assembled. While their offense isn't as explosive as some other teams in this conference, it has at least looked balanced and reliable. Don't write the Golfers off though; a win may be very unlikely but it is not impossible. Alpine got a truly brutal three game stretch to start the season but I don't think they'll have a problem bouncing back.
TKW win 34-6
Halifax (3) vs Edinburgh (16) - The harsh decline of season 1 players is hurting them as much as anyone, but Hali is still Hali. While it's pretty clear MPHD and TKW belong at the top, teams 3 through 6 are much murkier and I predict quite a battle for the last two home playoff games. TBH I'm giving Hali the 3 spot based mostly on X factor and hardware. VROOOOOOOOOM!
Hali win 255-0
CBlaze (4) vs Rams (6) - Perhaps I'm knocking the Rams too hard for their week one loss to a very impressive Providence, but this conference is tight and someone's gotta give. The Blaze haven't really been tested yet but look great on paper. This is potentially a very important game for both teams and an easy pick for *Game of the Week*. Chem may play a factor as CB will be around -2% while the Rams are at full strength.
Cblaze win 34-31
Valhalla (5) vs Flames (15) - It's still tough to gauge how Valhalla stacks up against the better Alpha teams, but our decimation of the Tigers after they played MEM close shows we are to be taken seriously. On the other hand, it's looking like it's going to be a rough season for the Flames.
Valhalla win 58-13
Hounds (7) vs Tigers (12) - The Hounds need to win this game convincingly to show they belong in the playoffs, while the Tigers need to at least make it respectable to show that last week's performance was a fluke. I believe the Hounds are still a threat to the top half of the conference and will show it in this game.
Hounds win 48-20
Benitos (9) vs Blitzkrieg (11) - Both of Hikariu's teams are fighting an uphill battle to make the playoffs this season. Both teams also are coming off of convincing wins against the bottom of the conference and need to show what they can do against more evenly matched competition. Is it too early to say that the loser of this game is going to be knocked out of playoff contention?
Benitos win 30-20
Ballers (10) vs Gunners (14) - The Ballers got embarrassed last week by the Rams but there's not a lot of shame in that. It remains to be seen if they are really in the playoff hunt or not. Look for them to rebound nicely this week. Hang on Gunners, you're in for a bumpy ride.
Ballers win 38-16
