Not in the world league, but I'll give these a shot. If they suck, tell me, I'll leave.
Lincoln Navigators 55, Santiago Benitos 39
So, what do you do to start a season strong? Win your first game. Or gut. The Navigators went with option 1 and rolled to a 55-39 win. In a fast paced exciting game, Lincoln scored 7 touchdowns. That'll give them a lot of cred going up against teams like MEM and HHW. They should lose those games, but they could still make the playoffs. How, I don't know. But they will, mark my words. ldo. Plays like this: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980014&pbp_id=3801069
set up the win for the Navigators. Good offensive effort from both teams. Here's the Santiago replay for this game: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980014&pbp_id=3802889 I am sure that we will see both teams have this kind of offensive attack in other games this year. The final score was unexpected.
Expect both teams to make the playoffs and stay in the World League.
Sparta Battle Chickens 47, Belfast Commandos 10
The Battle Chickens won their first ever game in the World League. The Commandos sucked. Or they didn't care. Whatever applies. Bugsy Franchise was very bad in this games, but left his WRs happy as they got passes like this: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980019&pbp_id=3810645
once a game. Too bad that they only scored 3 more points, huh? Oh, and I am using this space to praise the CHICKENS. PRAISE PRAISE. The Chicken will not struggle against the better teams in the World League. I think that they have the potential to beats teams like the Dakar Dragons and the MoD. Expect this team to do great things this year. The Commandos, not so much. But I think that they will pick up a couple wins this year. Their record will be around 4-12.

Dakar Dragons 255+, Edinburgh (Gutting) Black Nights 0
The gutters and the Dragons mixed it up for one of the greatest sectacles in GLB history. This game will be remembered as the "One Last Chance" game. Edinburgh wanted to follow the footsteps of LOL and fall back to the AAA. But the Dakar Dragon really wanted to say that they lost to a gutted teams. There is no need for highlights for this game, as the score says it all. And so does this:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980020&pbp_id=3810329 and this: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1002883
They tell the story of the number 1 team in Alpha falling to a title contender. How refreshing from the weekly blowouts we have to experience here in the World League, like 255-0. Oh wait...
Dakar has a good chance of making the playoffs.
Stewart Ballers 16, Mayan Prophecy 9
The Stewart Baller and the Mayan prophecy battle to a 16-9 win for the Ballers. The WL originals came ready with a tough defence and decnt offence. Well, less than decent. still good. The Ballers scored on this play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980007&pbp_id=3801347 and were up 10-0 after the XP. The Prophecy battled back though, scoring on this play: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980007&pbp_id=3802157. They mad the score 13-9 after this play later in the game: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980007&pbp_id=3804085. The Baller ended the game with a FG. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980007&pbp_id=3805448 With only 50 second left in the game, the Prophecy needed to score, and fast. But this is what happened: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=980007&pbp_id=3805593 to end the game with a turnover on downs.
The Prophecy are still a great team, and they can bounce back next week, against the Battle Chickens. Or can they?
