Do you like the penalty?

I have a lot of high level players because I started recruiting far before I received a team. I didn't know what league or when in it I was going to be. Kinda pisses me off that I worked hard to recruit some of these players and now they might get penalized for it.

I like it well go a long way in improving the game. And you should have a penalty for playing below, now you can still play in lower leagues and pawn but you will level up slower hurting yourself in the long run.

It will hurt me as well this season, but I dont care because it is needed.

I kinda wish I didn't boost up to 17 from 14 right after I was hired, but our league has some really strong levels, so maybe the median level wont be too low.

I like the changes. Will level the playing field out.

I really don't think it will affect much. If it's an 8 level bubble. Hardly anyone will be affected. I really think it should be brought down to about a 6.5 level above the average bubble. Then it would really hurt those that gut/move teams/have all there own players, while rewarding those that do it the right way.

If it is in fact an 8 level bubble that is probably fine. What is our average level?

Its not avg but median. our median should be pretty low when you take our team into concideration. we have several lvl 1s and there are some pretty high lvl guys in the league. Thanks to us, Genocide should not grow too much this year. The league will close the gap alot by the end of the year.

My team will be hurt by this new rule which kinda sucks.

With new teams it was all about how recruiting went. I recruited very hard and am finding it hard to buy into being penalized for that.

The penalty is not aimed at teams, the intention is to make FA's find like competition. Alot of high level guys are running from top leagues so they can stroke their egos against weaker new divisions. You dont see Randy Moss playing if AFL2 do you?

Your team will still rock. Your high lvl guys will still dominate. The thing is the window of awesomness will just close on you. We will gain XP faster than your elite talent. We will still never pass those guys up.

i really dont mind the changes, i think it sucks he waited till hours before season start to announce them, but what really has me ticked is he made these changes obviously at least in part because of our AA #3... but he left the assholes that caused all this shit with a team... it just baffles me...

I think it sucks too, but I am now concentrating soley on what I can control.

Robeck, looking at your roster you probably have NOTHING to worry about. This knee jerk reaction stuff is kind of getting out of hand, I've seen it a lot in other games every time a change is made the people that fear change lash out and over react to the change only to find out that change can in fact be good.

It's not actually a fear of change. It's a fear of being penalized. Guys won't be earning the xp they expected and it will affect their players ability to grow.

But by how much?? Do you know? Do I know? Nope, nobody knows, its just all the OMGTHISISGONNARUINMYTEAMWAAAAAA! people that are getting on my nerves.
