TE or LB would probably be best, but thats 2X the flex of a C or OT. I'm think a Lean OT would be best....thoughts? Looking for players that can play both coverage and return teams...

Look at autogains, DE or C seems best to me

Yup. DE or C are easily the best. There's no contest, imo.

I've got 2 Cs myself, that were built from the start as ST dots.

I agree with DE but C? Just curious why you would say that. Can you expand on the C idea?

Best strength and blocking gains. Tackling, vision, confidence, stamina and agility are minors, all useful for ST.

C's are good because they get huge natural gains in all the blocking attributes. They are heavy, so they're good at blocking, but they can still be very fast.
And they're 100 FP lol

Assuming that the primary ST attributes are Speed, Agility, Tackling, Vision, Blocking, and Strength, this is the break down of SPs per level up:

Center - 2.6 (extra .4 go into Stamina and Confidence)
DT - 2.6 (extra .4 go into Stamina and Confidence)
DE - 2.4 (extra .6 go into Jumping, Stamina, and Confidence)
OT - 2.1 (extra .9 go into Confidence and Stamina)
OG - 2.08 (extra .92 go into Confidence and Stamina)
TE - 2.0 (extra 1 go into Catching, Carrying, Stamina and Confidence)
SS - 1.92 (extra 1.08 go into Stamina, Jumping, Catching, Carrying, and Confidence)
LB - 1.84 (extra 1.16 go into Stamina, Confidence, Jumping, and Catching)

Thus from an auto-gain point of view, the discussion should actually be between Center and DT.

And since centers are 100 flex and DT/DE are 200, the choice is easy!

Maybe if you dont want a 300lbs player but a 260ish player.

My 2 Cs, identical speed. Both normally top out at 27.50 speed on the script. 301 lbs & 319 lbs.

OTs have horrible gains. C, K and P have the best gains in the game, at +1 per major (2 majors each)...But K & P obviously have irrelevant attributes for ST.

Thats what i use, i like the gains more spread out. I have 10 ST hybrids, in 2 seasons i have not given up a TD and as a returner, go take a look at my CB Deion Sanders, he runs behind them!!!
