Tokyo at Saigon - This is the game we have been waiting for. Two teams who have risen to the top and when it was for all the marbles they crushed their opponent. Tokyo comes in as the underdog here but they have been nothing short of great since their early loss to Saigon. This is their chance to avenge their loss.
Saigon has talked the talk and now they are walking the walk. Well all but Klarg has walked the walk. He has stated he is the best DE in the league and while there have been flashes he has been swallowed up by the hype. But, others on the team have really stepped up and covered his ass as the 3rd best DE on the team. Saigon did have a slip up to Tampa during the regular season and good teams recover from that as Saigon has here.
Tokyo has quietly flown under the radar for most of the season. Their early loss to Saigon may have been a blessing in disguise. After that loss they kind of just had no competition for a number of weeks so they became the forgotten until about week 6 when they beat Myanmar in a somewhat close game. Both of those teams still had easy schedules up until that point so people were still wondering how good Tokyo was until week 15. In week 15 they beat a very good Tampa team to turn the conference upside down but it wasn't enough to gain 1st place. They then took down Danbury fairly easily to nail down 3rd place.
Keys to Victory
Saigon - Ball control, limit turnovers, give up on Air Raid as an option, create turnovers on D like in the first game
Tokyo - Hold onto the ball, control the line of scrimmage and play great D
The Bold Prediction
Both teams have dominated in the playoffs and I think this game will be a low scoring slugfest. When push comes to shove, I think Tokyo will win the turnover battle and come away with a 19-13 victory.
Klarg will finish with 1 tackle and a missed tackle and get pancaked 4 times. He will be found several days later lying naked and shivering in a pool of his own piss and vomit murmuring "I'm the best, I'm the best...mommy says I'm the best. I'm the best...I'm the best. Mommy, tell them I'm the best"
