N.M.I. Pagan Fire Eaters vs. Christchurch Fighting Maori - The Fire Eaters are playing some of their best dotball ever! All phases of their game are impressive. Christchurch came alive in the 4th quarter of their playoff game, while they are happy with their win I get the feeling they believe they thought they were the better team all along. The Fire Eaters knocked the Maori out of the playoffs last year and I have to believe they will do it again this year.... The Maori's 19th ranked Defense will not be able to contain PFEs offensive assault.... 35-24
Nottingham Hoods vs. Micronesia Megalodons - These are the two Hottest teams in Alpha right now! The Hoods have won 8 in a row and Micronesia has beat 3 of the top teams in Alpha, back to back to back! Both of these teams have middle of the road Offenses but the Hoods have an advantage in their #5 overall Defense. I think this game could go either way... The Megalodons are trying to be Cinderella but the Hoods have already been to the Ball.... Experience over enthusiasm.... Hoods win a close on 24-21
Samoan Flying Foxes vs. Berlin Kruezberg Red Stars - These 2 teams played way back in week 2 and the Red Stars just needed 13.5 yards to tie the game in the last 2 minutes. Since then both teams have impressed. The foxes have the best offense in Zeta and #4 overall but the Red Stars are #5 overall and right behind them. Sydney is very balanced, 4th passing & 5th rushing, making it hard to game plan against but so are the Red Stars, 8th passing & 6th rushing. The Red Stars are also the last rookie team in the playoffs and as such have earned the respect they deserve as a Top Team in O-Pro.... The first round in Zeta was all chalk... so I'm calling an upset here... Red Stars edge the Foxes 21-20

Sydney with the #1 overall defense (5th passing, 6th rushing) vs. the Gunners and their #3 overall Defense, #1 against the rush. This game is going to be decided in the air.... and that gives Sydney an advantage. Turnovers keep this game close.....Jellybirds win 34-27
