After your contract is up this season, if you'd like to join Oberon next season in AAA, sign up in this thread. We are going to retire a few players and will be looking for a few replacements.

Yep. If you are looking for a team that has been around since at least season 5 yet never won a championship, is filled with season one players that are retiring or declining and are changing ownership and doesn't stand a chance in AAA, here's your shot!

Just had to warn the others in AA, I'm certainly not worried about any of mine leaving.

you need to take a look at your own roster there is quite a few that are retiring and declining. The other team you gm Pittsburgh Steel i played against them several times when i played for the bayou bandits in triple bbb 8. Now they bumped them self down to Minors Uncapped #1 to win a cheap championship. So if we dont stand a chance in AAA what makes you think your team can?

I don't. I also don't post in league forums trying to convince rival team players to join mine.

FWIW, I didn't GM the Steel until this season.

What excuse? The fact that I've never GMed or even been part of a team that's been relegated? (Unlike you, OBERON BULLS). Not that I would classify avoiding relegation as a success.

My involvement with the Steel stems from recruiting one of their owner's players heavily. He liked what he saw from our team and our team forum, but at the end needed the player for his own team, so he offered me a GM spot so I could get involved with his team. This is the first time I've GMed more teams than just the Raptors

You were the better team this season. You guys put together a great team and did some good game planning. I may not agree with how you go about doing some things, but I can't argue with the fact you guys were more successful than us this season. I don't consider this season a success and frankly I've been disappointed with our results the past few seasons. Congrats on moving on and good luck in AAA, but don't worry, we'll be there soon enough.

I predict most teams that win 13 games in AA will probably move up unless they are doing a rollback due to age and retiring squads. I think the overall mania about player decline due to age is mostly hype in leagues AAA and under I think these guys are probably good for a few more seasons of competing. Yes I said it here guys will be competitive in AA and AAA into their 13th and 14th seasons.

Also, Decribb is a solid guy who'll be a good anchor for Oberun and to me ... I can't believe I'm saying this but this is a good ploy to recruit guys and any edge you can bring to convincing guys to go up with you has to be done when you are 16-0 with a championship under your belt cuz I doubt these same guys will jump on the bandwagon when you go 8-8, 9-7 or 10-6 in AAA.

You had to edit that twice? lol I'll take being in AA one more season due to being out-leveled last year than being unable to put together a single sentence without multiple tries.

You (like us) were really only outleveled last season by 2 teams. The next 5 or 6 were all about the same level. 3 of the teams that got promoted from Alpha were within a couple levels of both our teams.

Nice try at revisionist history though.

To use your own words:
